    N3050 + graphics?

I have a Intel based N3050 ITX motherboard+SOC laying around and wondered if it would support OSX? I am ok with getting a supported graphics card as I know the onboard one would never get to work, but would that actually end up working?

    1 slot graphics card OOB?

You are right, I dont need a lot of computer power. My gaming is done on a extremely powerfull PC and my media apps run off a server so its only the basics I prefer to do in OSX. Is there any GT 610 people have had better luck with than other cards/models?

    1 slot graphics card OOB?

I want to soon rebuild my hackintosh, not that it has any troubles but I am soon redoing the office space and want to move it to a new case. I am looking at cases that will allow me to use a dedicated graphics card, but as the build is already tiny I dont want to add much extra and therefor only...

    Clover trouble Yosemite

Have tried a lot today and actually solved some of it... I could make the boot loader work in 3 seconds, don't know why it refuses to work with 5, anyway. A bios upgrade solved my RAM issue, now it shows correct and all 8 GB is accessible. I now need to make the graphics error on the...

    Cheapest Graphics Card in 10.9?

Is it any GT240 or an specific model to look for? EDIT: I can not find any GT240 cards on my local market (im from Denmark) so maybe something a little newer? I can find the EVGA 02G-P4-2643-KR GT640 for $100 here, but would prefer cheaper because its only a temp. solution until I upgrade my...

I looked there, but the card I mention is not on there - despite it should be a very close to standard GT 210... You think it would work?

    Cheapest Graphics Card in 10.9?

I want to switch my systems around a little and would like to try a E3-1230v2 CPU on a GA-B75M in my build. But to do that I would need a graphics card as there are no graphic core in this specific CPU. I do have a GTX660, but would like to move it along with the current motherboard to a second...

    Gigabyte GTX 660 Hackintosh compatibility

I have a ASUS GTX660 TOP (more or less the same as a Gigabyte OC ed.) and it works without any trouble at all :) Actually it works out of the box in Mavericks. In ML I had some startup trouble but was solved after some time fiddling with kexts and codes.

What USB drive to boot from?

I am going to split up my hardware yet again and transform it into a gaming rig, a server and a htpc. One of the obstacles is that it forces me to use a USB drive as my primary OSX drive. I have trimmed down my current install and program stack to fit around 32GB, so Im thinking a 64GB drive...

    [BUILDING] Mac Mini3 (i3-3225, FusionDrive, GA-B75N ITX)

At the moment this build is in a re-build stage, so the Node is now using a Pentium G2030 CPU and has changed name to Node 2.1b, running Windows 8.1. The 3225 CPU has been moved to this setup called the Mac Mini3 and added a lot of new hardware. The Mac Mini3 is at the moment consistent of...

    Swap out motherboard?

I currently have a Gigabyte GA-B75N system living inside a cardboard box (yes it does) because I could not make up my mind about what chassis to go for. I have finally decided I want the Streacom FC5WS Evo, and just discovered my ITX board is not compatible with that exact chassis :( Instead...

    Upgrade to bigger SSD?

I currently have a few parts laying around, and would like to assemble a new low cost hackintosh out of them. One of the parts I have is an 64GB SSD (Plextor M3) and would like to keep it for now but will upgrade it later on. How difficult is it to move from a small SSD to a bigger SSD? What...

    [BUILDING] Mac Mini3 (i3-3225, FusionDrive, GA-B75N ITX)

Just to let everybody know - I will restart this project some time in 2014. But for now it is put on hold as it started to annoy me... Last thing I did was that I ended up buying the Silverstone ST30SF SFX PSU to test if everything was still alive, just to realize that is worked like a charm...

    [BUILDING] Mac Mini3 (i3-3225, FusionDrive, GA-B75N ITX)

...but then there came problems... First time I turned it on it only went on for like 5 seconds and then turned off. And its been doing that ever since every time I try. It seems like its a dead power supply, because even if I unplug everything and only plugs in the power and a paperclip it...

    [BUILDING] Mac Mini3 (i3-3225, FusionDrive, GA-B75N ITX)

I have changed the LED colors from original red/green to white. And I have assembled! An extremely stupid detail is that if you use the original PSU for this case, made by Chieftec them selves - then the case cant close because of the fat modular connectors. So I had...
