Cheapest Graphics Card in 10.9?

I want to switch my systems around a little and would like to try a E3-1230v2 CPU on a GA-B75M in my build. But to do that I would need a graphics card as there are no graphic core in this specific CPU.

I do have a GTX660, but would like to move it along with the current motherboard to a second machine.


I am thinking how low is it possible to go with OOB support in Mavericks?
The cheapest card I can find from new around here is the Gigabyte GV-N210D3-1GI GT210 based card.
Would that work???

I looked there, but the card I mention is not on there - despite it should be a very close to standard GT 210... You think it would work?

i would get a gt240 card very cheap if u can find one..
works oob..from 10.6.3 up.a great card if u start from the orig install dvd(10.6)...
i still have one as a backup..

EDIT: I can not find any GT240 cards on my local market (im from Denmark) so maybe something a little newer?

I can find the EVGA 02G-P4-2643-KR GT640 for $100 here, but would prefer cheaper because its only a temp. solution until I upgrade my main graphics card in another machine and then move that card to the hack (a GTX660).

Can you get a Gainward 8800GT? nVidia released updated 10.9.3 drivers for the 8800GT in May this year.

I got a GT 640 for about $59 after rebate runs Diablo 3 just fine.
