OMG That did it!!!! Thank you so much for your help and patience.
Just out of curiosity, what do you think I may have missed in my installation that caused me to not have that line of code?
Did as you said. Now I just get an unusually long boot loading screen, followed by a blank black screen. It seems like its only working when I select 'Boot with Injected kexts'
So I opened the Clover Configurator, opened my EFI folder, went into the Clover folder and added the FakeSMC file in the Other folder. Is that what you mean by installing FakeSMC?
Thanks
Thank you so much for your help. I just updated Clover and now I don't have the option of selecting 'Without Cache' anymore. The only way I could get in is by selecting 'Boot with injected kexts' or something like that
As for FakeSMC, can you tell me where I do this? I never quite understood...
Hi guys,
I've recently upgraded to Sierra directly, and besides having to manually check off 'without caches' and 'inject kexts' in the boot window, I can't get in. Also, after the update, I now see a bunch of UEFI drives in my boot options (I dual boot with Windows 10 as well).
Would...
After doing some testing, I found the culprit to be one of my RAM sticks!
I'm going to leave the thread open in case other people have similar issues in the future.
[SOLVED] Freezing and restarting after startup
Hi all,
I have had El Capitan installed on my computer without a hitch until today. I was watching a video on YouTube when some of the tabs on Chrome started giving out errors and the computer immediately froze and auto-restarted. Now everytime I...
Hi
I finally sorted out my sleep problem. I think it was caused by a wireless Xbox One controller that I had plugged in for when I'm in Windows.
Thanks for your suggestion anyhow.

I really appreciate your help. I'll give your suggestions a try and will update as soon as I get home.
Come to think of it, I recently purchased a cheap mouse and keyboard combo off of Aliexpress and an Xbox One controller and I got a feeling one of them may be at fault here. I think I started...
I decided to upgrade my bios and that seems to have fixed my sleep issues in Windows. However, the sleep problems in El Capitan persists. I ran syslog |grep -i "Wake reason" in terminal and got XHC for the Wake reason. I'm assuming this issue stems from USB, but I'm having a tough time following...
Hi all,
About a month or two ago I decided to give El Capitan a go and did a completely fresh install using Clover. I wasn't have any issues with it until I noticed the sleep on my Windows side was not working anymore (neither was Restart). Basically whenever I would try to put my computer to...
Just a shameless bump!
I still have this problem.
Sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes it doesnt! Could it be the driver problem or my kexts? I'm really running out of ideas
