How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@kgp Thanks very much, will try and report. Believe me, I am aware of the PCI situation  unfortunately I'm hopping from one project to another and the osx side is 10% of my working environment mainly for compatibility with collaborators, as I am mostly on the *Unnameable-here* ms operating...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hello again, I'm back, after trying to follow KGP's website guide on how to implement ACPI via SSDT for my RocketRaid 640l, which is basically a Marvell 9230 AHCI Raid card. Worked fine before x299, and it's recognized but not driver-loaded in System Profiler. I am afraid the guide goes beyond...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Your solutions contributed to get a series of devices working, for example usb 3.1 and NVME which weren't. Unfortunately I fall short of knowledge to "add a SSDT for HighPoint RocketRaid 640L PCIe adapter". I would greatly appreciate redirection to a guide to generate one. Thanks!

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hi All, before upgrading to x299 I was on a X58 build on ElCap, and I was succesdully running a HighPoint RocketRaid 640L OOB (no kexts or drivers required). On x299, I am now on High Sierra, the card is working great on windows, on 10.13, however I keep having it as "Driver Installed:no", with...

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

Thanks @RehabMan, it was indeed IDT92HD91BXXInject.kext, which I honestly don't remember when and if I personally installed. This is a very old build started on Mavericks and gone thru Yosemite, El Capitan and now HS, never clean install, always updated, and ALWAYS GREAT THANKS TO YOU. It might...

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

Will try again. But I did, believe it or not I am careful at procedures. I read post #1 plenty of times.

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

Here you go. No substantial changes other than refreshing the kext, hence I hadn't reattached problem reporting files. These were dumped after uninstalling soundflower, still no luck.

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

UPDATE: erased the entire Projects folder and repeated git pull from scratch, I now got the destination Built In Output devices to get recognized, but the source in Audio Preferences shows Unknown device. What I mean should be clear in the screenshot below

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

All steps that I've already tried, I have rebuilt caches on a no-cache boot and ran the script: AppleHDA_IDT76e0_Envy.kext gets correctly installed but it doesn't recognize any audio device.

Sorry about that, the only thing missing was the F4 at clover screen. Here you go, this is generated with the script

Hi @RehabMan , flawless update to High Sierra without converting to APFS here, following your directions, perfect as always! I can't seem, however, to get audio back, a problem I already had going to ElCap from Mavericks, but that time your kext cache wipe suggestion worked, this time it's not...

[Guide] Enabling ATI Radeon HD 5450

@NewbHackintosh , did you have any success? Same situation here than yours: no QE/CI and 1280x1024. I'm on Mavericks, GA-X58A-UD7, kext AMDController5000 and AMD X3000 are loaded, Framebuffer kext is not.

Making a Clover USB work as true legacy BIOS

Hi. No luck here on GA-x58a-ud7. Whenever I boot from USB I get the red screen with X64 Exception. Any hint?

[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K using Clover UEFI

Hi Rehabman, I am checking in whether this is a known issue or not. I'm on Mavericks and my audio jack hotplug is not working. If I start without a jack plugged in, plugging one in when the system is up does not trigger the output. If I start with a jack plugged in, conversely, I get audio...
