Does this work if I'm using MBR and not GPT or would I need to apply some kind of patch to the installer?

Does this just update my OS (keeping my apps, settings, etc..) or remove everything? Also can I do it directly from Yosemite 10.10.1 or do I have to update to El Capitan first?

The installer app isn't allowing me to select the system partition because it's MBR. Is there a patch or something?

Did a clean install and it's still there. I think it doesn't have to do with AppleHDA. Maybe it's Clover way to disable kexts (although I didn't select any)

But what does the onboard audio have to do with HDMI audio from the GPU? (I'm willing to sacrifice the onboard audio for HDMI audio if I can't have both at the same time.)
