Use this guide (instead of SL you can install Lion using the UniBeast Method)

Also I made a post about it when I installed dual boot system (Lion and Windows 7) on my hackintosh:

I searched the forum and google and this method worked for me:
1. On your BIOS configure de XMP to 1
2. Configure the multiplier for the memory until it shows 1600Mhz
3. Configue the timings and voltage of the memory. My Kingston HyperX (KHX1600C9D3/4G): 9-9-9-27 and 1.65v
4. Save and exit
I had that problem on 10.7.2, take a look at the last post here
The steps are simple, delete all your kext, reboot, run multibeast to enable them again, reboot. If that isn´t working, try setting up sound from the MIDI Audio Setup App.
I took your advice and everything is working correctly! I plugged the HDD into the SATA3 port 0 and my DVDRW into the SATA2 port 2.
The HDD is now correctly detected and working at 6gb/s.
Thanks a million! :thumb up:
PD: On a complete unrelated topic, I have 1x4GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz and...
Thanks for replying. I'll try to just swap the connector of my HDD to the white SATA3 port and see how it goes. Your HDD is working at 6gb/s?
One of the posts I was refering was this one.
Hi you all!
I'm having trouble with my 500GB Seagate 7200rpm SATA3 6gb/s HDD.
I'm using Lion 10.7.2 and in the More info of the About this Mac section it shows it's running at 1.5 gb/s. I think the system is running slow because of this (iTunes took about 40 minutos to import 20gb of data into...
Re: Succesfull Lion Installation GA-P67A-D3-B3
I tried the exFAT format and it's very slow, took about half and hour to iTunes to import 20GB of data (music, podcasts, books and apps) into it's library :S. I'm going back to the Mac Journaled format and going to install some software to read...
Thanks. I tried it but didn't work! Instead I installed Lion from scratch using a mix between the guide (specially the step 5 about MultiBeast) in your blog and the UniBeast guide.
You can find my post here
Thanks for your help.
Keep up the good work!
You should take a look at my post
To make it boot from your HDD and make the sound work try checking this options at multibeast after booting with UniBeast USB:
System Utilities
ALC8xxHDA
AppleHDA Rollback
ALC889 (Replace this one with the specific codec of your motherboard)
3rdParty SATA...
Re: Succesfull Lion Installation GA-P67A-D3-B3
Thanks! I'll try that!
You corrected me ha, I needed a readable and writeable format (unlike NTFS).
EDIT: I read that the exFAT format brings some complications with the DVDRW drives, is that right? Do you have exFAT filesystem and...
Thanks you both for your help. After a lot of testing with no luck I decided to go for the UniBeast method.
I made a post about how I got everything working. You can find it in here:

Thanks again for your help. Have a nice day!
Hi you all!
After a couple of days of struggling with Snow Leopard installation I successfully installed Lion from scratch.
My PC Specs:
Intel i5 2500
Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3 rev 2.0 Bios version FC
4GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz
XFX 9600GT 512MB
1) First things first, configuring the BIOS as it...
Hi you all!
I tried installing Snow Leopard 10.6 from the retail DVD following the iBoot+MultiBeast guide with no luck.
First try I connected the HDD on the blue sata2 port 2 and my DVDRW on the blue sata2 port 3 (the ports 0 and 1 are the whites sata3). Then I configured my mobo BIOS as it...
Hi you all.
I'm having some trouble with my SL installation when I try to do the following at step 6:
"Open up a new Finder window (right-click on the Finder icon and choose "New Finder Window"), and go to the main hard drive. Copy the files "mach_kernel" and "smbios.plist" from the "Extra"...
