Ive ran the game on both windows and mac. It just seems it runs alot better on windows. I am talking about CSS. This is without overclocking or anything. I also do not like how you can not overclock a GPU in mac.
Well, I tried Fusion but it this is not a viable option as I was going to do a Windows VM to play games. Any other options for gaming besides dual booting? Mac just doesnt utilize the GPU as much as Windows.
I changed all my settings to yours. My mem is now running at 1600 and im getting a GB score of 8600. I think I may need a new heatsink and fan before OCing as my idle temps are around 50c.
Im wondering if my bootup is slower than it is supposed to be. First off, once I get to the apple boot screen, it takes about 6-8 spins of the loading wheel to get into OSX. Normal?
Also, im only getting 8400 on geekbench 32bit.
Thanks
I think this is a problem with 1080 monitors. I googled it and a few other people are having the same issues. My resolution doesnt even show up under chameleon video options.
Ok, I tried the bootxchanger. This did not work and the color would not change. I deleted the boot.plist and rebooted. I had to manually select OSX from the bootlist and it booted into osx with the same screen size as the boot, with the black boarder around it. I can not change the resolution...
I think I can fix it if I edit the apple white background and make it bigger, were is it located? Also, where is the chameleon boot background located?
Changed resolution in system settings from 1080p to 800x600. I then changed them back and reset the system. The screen is stil the same size as before with black edges. Also, forgot to mention the chameleon boot screen has a black border around it also.
Im having a problem on my hackintosh recently. When I put the computer to sleep,(because it will not sleep on its own) while trying to wake it, the screen looks like when a TV doesnt get reception. If I press the power button, everything goes back to OSX fine. What could this be?
I must of broke the sound again, not working. Ive tried to remove the AppleHDA and the ALC and reinstall with no luck. Under about this mac, it shows up all the ports. Under the system config, audio it shows that there no output devices and sound will not play.
Any ideas?
