That worked! Many thanks! Are these really updated? Is there a post about this?

No. I thought it was updated to the most recent version. Whoops, that one doesn’t update in OpenCore Config. Where can I procure the latest? Nowhere, because the copy I have is ver. 1.0. And that’s the latest. I tried to backpeddle down to 1.4.0. No more black screen, but the wifi is still broken.

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I lost wireless support by upgrading to OCLP 1.4.2 today on my Dell Optiplex 9020 USFF. Cleaned NVRM too, didn’t help. So, be careful out there. Going back to 1.4.1 resulted in another problem: a black screen. Will post more when I troubleshoot.

    macOS 14.3 Update

Updated Dell Optiplex 9020 USFF to 14.3 from 14.2.1 with Opencore 0.9.7 and OCLP for graphics and wireless.

macOS Sonoma is Now Available From the Mac App Store

I fixed Dropbox with the AMFIPass.kext.

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I am back to pose a question about using Dropbox since amfi=0x80 could be my problem. After upgrading to Sonoma, Dropbox works as normal. However, once I have set up config.plist and the EFI/OC/KEXT folder and reboot, Dropbox stops working. So, it isn't applying the OCLP patch for the wireless...

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I had to edit this post. Yes, I do have that file in Library/Extensions. I looked for it in EFI/OC/Kexts first. That said, I deleted NoVIAJpeg.kext and the wireless patch installed and works

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I removed the patch settings and updated to Public Beta 2. But I cannot reapply the patch. I get the error shown in the screen capture below when the kernel cache is rebuilt. I am still using Opencore 9.3 with all the updated kexts, including Lilu 1.6.7.

macOS 14 Sonoma Public Beta is Now Available

I don't think there is venue there to post this kind of bug. This issue is really more of an orphan topic. I just need to find out if it's a one-off.

macOS 14 Sonoma Public Beta is Now Available

Okay. I could have fixed that myself, though. Thanks?

macOS 14 Sonoma Public Beta is Now Available

Agree. My clients used it for years because DB was one of the first cloud storage services. OneDrive is the real joke. I lost dozens of images that lost their headers and so cannot be opened. But there is some mystery problem that is related to OCLC and Hackintosh. I use OCLC to update a 2013...

macOS 14 Sonoma Public Beta is Now Available

Has anyone experienced Dropbox failing to launch after the OCLP patch for WiFi? I noticed something like this on my Optimax 9020 USFF after upgrading to Ventura and using OCLP releases to patch the Haswell iGPU. Dropbox ceased to launch and I couldn't reinstall Dropbox. Even the Dropbox betas...

Z390 Aorus Elite EFI with OpenCore 0.9.4 for Sonoma beta

Question, can the boot argument revpatch=sbvmm be inserted and left there? Do you recommend reverting it?

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I need to reply to myself. One thing I've noticed by using OCLP patches--on two of my rigs is that in Sonoma (Broadcom patch) and Ventura (patching the Haswell in an Optimax 9020 USFF)--is that Dropbox doesn't work and I cannot reinstall it. The installer crashes and has to be shut down in the...

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

My USBPorts.kext was a little flawed. The BRCM2072 Hub was set to USB3, not internal. (How did that happen?!) I reset to Internal and was able to open a Web page on my iPhone, which, in turn, showed up as Chrome handoff icon in the Dock. Clicked that and it opened to the identical webpage. So...

Turned it off in BIOS. I can report that AirDrop works.

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I can report success on an old Skylake+Gigabyte mobo spoofed as a Mac Pro 7,1. Since the Opencore Legacy Patcher also wants to patch the Haswell graphics, you must ensure that the internal GPU is disabled before using this beta version. That way, only the WiFi patch is installed and the Haswell...

How to enable HD4600 in Ventura for the Dell Optiplex 7020/9020

Has anyone had trouble installing the Dropbox app after 13.3.1 and 13.4? The latest Dropbox revision moves the Dropbox folder to a new subfolder in User/Library, CloudStorage. But the revision also doesn't play well with going back to HD 4600 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher. Dropbox keeps crashing...

    macOS 13.4 Update

I have an Optiplex 9020 USFF with a REKONG BCM94360HMB card inside. I was able to get it to work with BrcmPatchRAM 2.66 in both the EFI/OC/Kexts folder and the Library/Extensions folder. But this solution didn’t hold. The workaround was to delete com.apple.bluetoothuserd.plist. Then reboot...
