Forget about AMD, just go for nVidia, it's more compatible with OS X. The rest, it's just fine, except the PSU, choose one a little bigger (700W or some).

Hi, there is no issue on booting 10.6.3 or 10.6.7 with iBoot CD. The problem comes when i go to 10.6.8 or just on previous version when installing MB (just the user dsdt), i can't get working my video card, but the rare thing is that the system boot up correctly but without graphics, just a...
I get stuck on "black screen" if verbose, and "Apple Logo" if non-verbose.
BTW, the screen i took is an error i saw when booting, just after ram check and cpu detect, and before start loading kexts..

-MB: Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3 F7 rev1.1
-CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
-RAM: 2x2Gb Patriot 1333Mhz
-HDD: 250Gb Samsung SATA
-Graphics: XFX AMD Radeon HD 6870 1Gb -- HD-687A-ZHFC (*I think this is guilty)
-Optical: TSSTCorp DVD+RW

Believe me, when that happend iBoot doesn't make it boot, neither using -v -f -x flags.
I'm using SL 10.6.7. I was going to update to 10.6.8, but i don't have a DSDT configured, and i don't have an linux ISO to extract mine.

I think this could affect performance. Am i right?. If it foes it, how can i fix it?.
