I haven’t used the 3rd slot. I’m away from the computer this week, but on my return I’m happy to test and provide you an update. My understanding you are having an issue with any drive in that slot - whether boot or data - correct? what brand of drive are you using?

I’m planning on leaving the shelf out so I have better airflow through the whole case. I did put the locking mechanism back together without an issue. Now just have to wait for the laser hive atx kit coming soon.

I did the z490 vision g and it’s been incredibly stable. I have an issue with iMessage, but I think that’s my account issue - nothing to do with the build.
