Wish this was available for the Radeon VII.

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

This looks awesome, has anyone created SSDT to get better performance from the Radeon VII? I look at my Geekbench 5.4 scores and tend to see a 10% to 15% lower value then what is shown on the chart ( using the lowest Radeon VII score on their list ). I am using the AMD 50th Anniversary edition...

X299 14 Core Mac Pro build compatibility questions

My previous issue: AppleUSB20HubPort@14132200: AppleUSBHostPort::disconnect: persistent enumeration failures It seems to have disappeared, which is great. At this point, I have had a super solid Hackintosh. Super impressed with the performance of this setup, and it has been absolutely rock...

    X299 - Open Core support

@jaraheel I did nothing extra to get Bluetooth to show up at all. It was just there and working from the very first Mojave installation. I haven't tried to get it working with other devices besides AirPods and my Sony WH-1000MX3 Headphones. Overclocking these HEDT CPUs requires VERY good...

    X299 - Open Core support

@jaraheel. Interesting. I am using the latest BIOS on my ASUS Rampage VI Extreme. My Bluetooth was identified out of the box with no extra effort on my part, and I use it for my Bluetooth headphones. I bought the motherboard when it came out. I am curious when you purchased yours. I may try to...

    X299 - Open Core support

@jaraheel What is working in your EFI ( Audio, Ethernet, Sleep, Wifi, Bluetooth ) Currently, I have Bluetooth, Audio (* I think I haven't tested headphone port), Ethernet. I have not tried to get sleep to work, when I tried it the screens went black, but the system didn't go down into a sleep...

    X299 - Open Core support

@jaraheel Awesome, I look forward to comparing our EFI's. I finally got my system working super well. It was random rebooting, but once I turned off XMP and removed all overclocking it became solid. I will be SLOWLY trying to get some of my speed back. I was surprised how sensitive macOS seems...

@jaraheel Did you ever get a fully working setup for the Rampage VI Extreme?

Computer shuts down after 10.13.2 update.

@Thireus I am also running the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme, and I am experiencing random reboots while using the machine like someone hit the reset button. I also experience straight lockups/freezes as well, but that is rarer. Were you ever able to resolve the issue with your ASUS Rampage VI Extreme...

    Asus X299 - Support

@izo1 I was not asking you to micromanage my bootloader, I simply asked what you were using for hardware monitoring. Once you told me, I just followed up with a comment regarding my experience with it so far. I also don't know why you are going off on me in regards to OC. I am happily using OC...

Radeon VII (and new AMD gpus) compatibility

@Wolfster I haven't even tried to tackle sleeping yet for my desktop, feels like a problem for another day ;). I am using 2 displayport connections, it has supported plug and play so that has been great.

    Asus X299 - Support

@izo1 I ended up going back to FakeSMC. VirtualSMC felt like the GPU reporting was incorrect ( like saying my GPU only has 8GB of ram when it has 16GB ). So far I haven't found anything that will properly report Wattage used on my CPU for x299. Most everything else reports well.

@BluewaterVA The move wasn't too difficult, there are alot of good guides, and had a few questions answered on Discord which was helpful.

Radeon VII (and new AMD gpus) compatibility

Ok that sounds closer to what I am used to seeing. Perhaps a bit of a better driver set under Catalina? I will be holding off on Catalina for a bit and let Mojave be for a bit.

Radeon VII (and new AMD gpus) compatibility

Hmm, I am only getting 47k for an OpenCL score under Mojave 10.14.6. I am getting 59464 for Metal score which seems quite good. I am using the latest Geekbench 5.1 as well. Was your 65k for OpenCL or Metal? Also, are you on Mojave or Catalina?

I moved over to OpenCore today, not too difficult. I have a pretty damn good working setup now ( built off CC and then moved to OpenCore ) The biggest win was the shock that the Bluetooth on the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme is supported out of the box!! I just moved over to VirtualSMC and I don't...
