I have the computer connected to a KVM switch. Audio is done via USB adapter. Not pretty, but working (would not pass the test of anyone with proper ears as there are some hissing noises etc, but it is ok for my purposes).

No idea what I did. With the original card (which was in the Optiplex... some ancient AMD card with 512 MB memory on it), the computer did not really run. With the internal HD4600 there was no joy either. Went to Amazon, got the card. plugged it in and it just started.

They have no interest in Macs... They were quite happy with the WIn10 professional license stickers on the casing. I should actually unfriend them :) Does the 9010 guide also apply to the 9020?

thanks for the card link. Costs about 3 times as much as the 550. I guess for now this is OK... as long as I can run World of Warships on it, i am ok. And this is working on the RX550... which has 4 GB as well. Let's get the audio issue sorted for now... Amazon says delivery comes on Wednesday...

Guess you will have to invest another $75+ for a suitable GPU. or find something cheap and cheerful in your local yard sale or eBay.

To get back to topic: The creator of this thread can use a RX550 which will fit into the Dell SFF, but will have to make sure to update Lilu, WhateverGreen and AppleALC :)
