The sleep issue:
The system enters sleep (leds and everything shuts off) and then after 1-2 seconds is waking up.
I unplugged the BT card USB and sleep works without it.
I’m using a BCM94360CS2 PCI-E card, which works natively. The USB map i’m using is from someones EFI who has the same card...
@pastrychef this is th crash log. Apparently this is a problem a lot of users have on real Macs.
panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff7f84defad5): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from com.apple.WindowServer in 120 seconds
service: com.apple.logd, total successful checkins since load...
I actually managed to fix the issue:
reset nvram, replaced IntelMausiEthernet with IntelMausi from acidanthera and fixed an error that was coming up before OC bootloader was loaded - OC: Setting NVRAM 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:rtc-blacklist - Not Found.
Also I was using 3 monitors...
Have you encountered any freezing issues when the system is idle with Z390 mobos or Vega64?
I have an Aorus Master Z390 with a 9900K and a Vega64 Nitro+ which freezes after a few minutes, when the PC is idle. Currently on latest Catalina with OpenCore 0.5.8.
Also is VGtab necessary with...
So far I tried the following:
Reset nvram
Disabled cfg lock
Removed the BT BCM94360CS2 from the internal usb port (solved the sleep issue)
Removed IntelMausiEthernet.kext and disabled the NIC in BIOS - saw some similar problems related to this
Used Vgtab to generate the power table for the...
Hey guys, same here - Gigabyte Aorus Master Z390 - freeze when idle/a few minutes after screen saver kicks in, and the internet connections is down.
Any ideas? I’m using Opencore as a bootloader. Will try using the PC without the ethernet and see what happens.
Hey guys,
I have a weird issue - i have a Hackintosh with the latest Catalina version and OpenCore bootloader.
When idle the pc freezes - becomes unresponsive and my router disconnects from the internet (Archer C9, connected via PPPOE user/pass).
Besides the freezing issue, which I’m not...
Hey there,
I have a Hackintosh, installed and configured following this tutorial: [https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh](https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh)
The EFI folder is similar - i only have one more kext - VGTab which controls my...
I’m not an expert, but i do knowna thing or two. I know that 1.350 should the the highest value i should reach, that’s what’s recommended in the Gigabyte guides too. However, i’m not getting any stability with it. In Hackintosh at least. I’ll install Windows on a separate drive and see how it works.
Hey guys,
Trying to OC my 9900K at 5g.
I have the following setup:
9900K
Aorus Master Z390
Corsair 150i pro AIO
64GB Ram Corsair Vengeance
EVGA 1000 P2 PSU
Radeon Vega 64 Nitro+
The settings are the following:
Advanced Frequency Settings
CPU Clock Ratio: 50
Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)...
I know the cost it can be a pain in the a**. I got mine for around 340$. The entire system was a little over 3600$. But i intens to leave it this way for a couple of years. I’ll sell my current Macbook to save some money i burned with this build.
I actually wanted to invest in two things...
I used the entire EFI folder from this repo: https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh (great guide, BTW), but the sleep problem is still unsolved.
I’ll dig a little bit more.
Hello there,
I successfully installed Hackintosh on my new build. However, I do have an issue with the Corsair Hydro 150i Pro RGB.
I cannot see the fan speeds and also have no control over them. I'm watching the CPU temps with HWMonitor and for the fans speeds i'm using Macs Fan Control - and...
Not yet, i’m investigating and i’ll get back on this issue.
The temps however, in stress tests go over 80-90 degrees - which wasn’t the case in Windows, so i’ll have to find a solution.
I’m thinking to install a Win VM and control the fans in it using the Corsair app.
Just installed it today - everything works perfectly. I actually used everything from this guide: https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh
For setting the Vega64 fans speed i used VGTab by @lihaoyun6
I also managed to connect the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad with an...
I installed the Kext with the settings you mentioned for VegaTag. My fans on the Sapphire Radeon Vega64 Nitro+ started spinning pretty fast - I actually can hear them now. Would you recommend setting the target temperature to something like 65 and target speed to 3000?
Thanks in advance!
