Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

Yes, there was definitely a lot of non sense in my first config. The 13” vs 1” comparison is not really fair because the 13” also include me moving the mouse and clicking the right boot drive. Now all that happens automatically... which is also a big benefit as I only have 1 OS installed and...

Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

Hi Edhawk I implemented most of your suggestions with the exception of: 1) Moving kext to /CLOVER/kexts/Other --> I need some time for this in case something goes wrong 2) custom SSDT's --> which advantages would this bring? 3) XHCI-Unsupported.kext --> my (wired) mouse does not work with this...

Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

thank you so much Edhawk. I’ll have to go slowly through your message but it looks great. thanks for attaching the actual CLOVER folder. That helps considerably. regarding the WiFi cards: the motherboard has integrated WiFi and Bluetooth but only the latter works with macOS. Therefore I added a...

Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

Hi Edhawk, I think I made some progress here. Still a lot of questions remain, but let's see what you have to say: I read the guide and my kext are all under S/L/E. Specifically I added: FakeSMC Lilu IntelMausiEthernet VoodooHDAa XHCI-200-series-injector WhateverGreen This I still have to...

Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

thanks for the quick reply. Just for info: the Early 2015 MacBook takes 9 sec from apple logo to login page. The Hackintosh (with the EVO m.2) takes 16 sec. When running a Disk Speed Test on the EVO m.2, it reports around 1500 MB/s R/W. Same test on an older Samsung SSD850 (also installed on the...

Can someone check my Bootlog and CLOVER?

Hi Everyone I built my Hackintosh (i7-7700K, 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8191 MB) a couple of years ago thanks to this website. Since then I am using it without any issues. I stayed with Sierra OS. I also have an old MacBook Pro (Early 2015, i5, 8GB RAM) also running Sierra and its booting...

I don't see MACH REBOOT in my log. I think the cause for rebooting is different then.

Help needed: reboot after "Attempting system restart"

Thanks, LeoDuke. It's a very good explanation and I am able to follow it. I have now a working Hackintosh with Sierra and I am a bit reluctant to try High Sierra now again. But I might give it another try on a separate HDD in the near future. Thanks!!!

No, I have the same issue as you have and I was not able to solve it. I gave up and installed Sierra. Sierra installation completed without problem.. Does your computer reboot exactly at the same point as mine? You can check my verbose log by clicking the link in my post above.

    SUCCESS: ASUS Z270G + i7 7700K + NVMe + Intel HD630

We have almost the same HW and I tried to follow your tutorial. I had to change the SMBIOS to iMac18,3 and then Sierra was installed without any issue (in your files the SMBIOS is iMac17,1 -- with this I get a no entry sign). Thanks a lot!!! I still have to figure out how to do a clean...

Help needed: reboot after "Attempting system restart"

I gave up and tried following this tutorial on how to install Sierra. First time did not work (no entry sign), then I changed the SMBIOS from iMac17,1 to iMac18,3 and it worked! No issues at all. Sierra installed. First Hackintosh up and running! :-))) Not happy, I gave High Sierra a second...

Help needed: reboot after "Attempting system restart"

Hi again I am really stuck here. Tried all possible booting options and config.plist but I cannot pass this step. There must be something fundamentally wrong in my setup... I have seen from other people's screenshots that the next line after this "corecrypto" should be my computer configuration...
