    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I had a kernel panic which made me do a hard shutdown. Couldn't get past the OC selection screen, so I got into recovery and ran a first aid on the macOS drive. I haven't been able to get past the boot selector screen since. I installed Ventura on a separate SSD, booted into it and can see all...

    Intel Bluetooth not working

    Did you ever figure this one out? My bluetooth isn't working either. These Kexstat shows the following bluetooth drivers loading: 48 0 0xffffff8002ab8000 0x37000 0x37000 com.apple.iokit.IOBluetoothFamily (9.0.0) 762313D7-1010-3533-873E-5C69EE2E5DB2 <47 25 16 9...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

After updating to OC0.9.2 and subsequently Ventura 13.6.1 it seems I lost power management. Logic Pro is only using one core. Did something change with respect to power management?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Running OC 0.9.3. I updated all KEXTS to latest ones, and upgraded from Big Sur to Ventura. Upgrade went smoothly. I also followed instructions to get the installed CNVi Intel Card working but now I have neither WiFi nor Bluetooth. Also not getting Ethernet. Any tips?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I've been hanging out on OC 0.7.5 for some time. Wanted to make the jump to 0.9.2 but the HackinDROM method only upgrades me to 0.7.8. Is there a guide that gets me there manually? I plan to stick with Big Sur (I use 32bit plug-ins).

    Guide: MultiBooting UEFI

I read through this thread but it appears that most instructions are clover specific. I'm trying to dual or even triple boot a Dell 5379 which will share the same 1tb ssd. Is there a way to do this without disrupting current Big Sur installation?

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I bought a MacBook Pro and wanted to save time by using migration assistant. Is it possible to connect my existing Z390 hack via TH3 in Target Disk Mode to the new M1 MacBook Pro to do this?

    [Guide] Dell Inspiron 13 5379 (2-in-1) - MacOS 10.14.1 VirtualSMC, I2C Trackpad

Here's the screenshot of all of the USB devices. I got rid of Windows completely, but plan to re-install eventually. Do you know of any Linux live distros that can be of help with checking the camera functionality?

Nothing is showing up. There's no special kext or anything like that, right?

I was under the impression that USB mapping is identical on our two machines. No? Did you follow RehabMan's guide?

The brightness keys now also work! :) Just need to figure out the issue with the camera.

Interesting. I had previously tried BrightnessKeys.kext but couldn't get the keys to work. With your EFI, they work no problem. I wonder if order of kexts or some redundant settings with SSDT were preventing the functionality. Almost everything, including touchscreen works with Big Sur...

    [GUIDE] Dell Inspiron 15 OC 7.8 MacOS Monterey 12.2.1| i7-8550u | UHD 620| 4K 60hz

Attached. I'm including the newest one that has everything working except F11/F12 Brightness keys and Camera. Side note on an unrelated topic. Since posting here, I made a few discoveries which I posted about on another thread, but those relate to iGPU acceleration performance. You can read...

    UHD630 frequency stuck at minimum

No significant impact on battery. I'm 4 hours in and have 33% left on a 42Ah Dell battery. Screen on full brightness the entire time, mixed use with some YouTube at times, but mostly safari, terminal, finder, OpenCore, etc.

Been trying to get native brightness keys on my Dell Inspiron 5479 in Big Sur to work for a week. No such luck. Can you walk me through the process you used to get brightness keys mapped to F11/F12 on your 5379. Mine are currently mapped to FN+S/FN+B.

    UHD630 frequency stuck at minimum

Been working on a Dell Inspiron 13 5379 with a UHD 620. I was getting abysmal results in performance while playing back a 4K video stream referenced in this post by @CaseySJ. Without any boot fags, I was getting extremely choppy playback which made the video unwatchable. Looking at the GFX AVG...

    [GUIDE] Dell Inspiron 15 OC 7.8 MacOS Monterey 12.2.1| i7-8550u | UHD 620| 4K 60hz

@Mrgeque I've spent about a week trying to get my touchscreen to work on my Dell Inspiron 13 5379. I read somewhere that someone with the same model as mine adopted your EFI to their config and has everything working. I decided to try my luck. I started by keeping my EFI, as I have a mostly...
