Hardware: Gigabyte GA-X584-UD5 F7 i7-970 radeon hd 6870 I followed the install guide for el capitan and everything seemed fine. I migrated my files over and restarted and now once it loads back to the apple logo and progress bar it auto restarts. Any ideas on the problem? Thanks

Trying to do a fresh install of ML. I loaded up ml with unibeast on a usb. When I boot up into the unibeast install, I get the apple logo and spinning wheel and then it switches to a white flickering screen... Any help would be appreciated... thanks Here are my computer specs...

Tried that. I did follow that, still no luck. I already had a dsdt installed so I just checked Patched Realtek 889 and AppleHDA rollback with system utilities. what did i do wrong?

So i just upgraded to mountain lion. Got everything to work but then my output/input options for my audio disappeared. All it shows is SoundFlower(2ch)(16ch) My Motherboard is: Gigabyte x58a UD5. I have used MultiBeast 4.6.1 to install the kexts for it but to no avail. Any help would be great.

So i tried all that you recommended and nothing worked. Still throwing a fit. When i start up and let it run its course, it either panics or freezes at apple grey screen with the spiny wheel. I did the -v -x thing and both of them came back with "still waiting on root..." I re-installed...

Everything worked. I didn't have to boot from cd, it booted nicely with chimera. Audio Video Lan worked when i installed. What do you mean when you say what did i add? you mean programs? or other kext. If other kexts, then I haven't touched it. All i did was custom-beast install. it worked...

I used a custom beast to install lion as a fresh install. As a fresh install it worked but I guess as I started adding stuff it screwed up. No I didn't put any boot flag. Not sure what and how all that works. Didn't know if I had to use multibeast since I did the custom beast.

well I found the kext and deleted it but it still throws a error while booting up. Any Other ideas?
