@uar I mentioned quite a few things that you definitely found helpful enough to included in your guide. Like modifying the bios to remove the cpus=4 boot flag so that we have full processor performance. As well as how to implement our dGPUs. I have also gotten the updated voodooi2c drivers...
Actually it wasn't showing in prefpane due to the cable not being fully connected. I only lack multitouch getures on trackpad. I know i didn't respond on the gitter but I saw your response. I will probably start working on that next week.
@uar @ben9923 I personally can still use my touchpad with basic functionality, although multitouch gestures on my touchscreen are kindaa crazy. Also my touchpad nolonger shows in the preference pane. BTW i did a liquid metal repaste... this is my dream laptop now.... lol Gonna be sad to sell it...
No it does not matter. Let the computer sit for a few minutes. It seems as if it is locking up but just give it time.
Not yet he hasn't ported the Synaptics protocol to the driver yet. It will give basic mouse functionality. Multi-touch only applies to the touchscreen due to the Kext's ability...
ALSO! For anyone with the touchscreen version of the Razer Blade, the new VoodooI2C gives us gesture control and 2 finger click/scroll via our touchscreens. @uar would you be willing to work together to make a new guide? I think we could update yours with a few of the fixes ive found to add some...
Sorry for the late response, ive been really busy. Here is the link DO NOT USE HIS MODDED BIOS FILE. Use his guide it is pretty simple. I also wouldnt mess around in certain parameters if you do not know what you are touching...
Modified BIOS to reveal settings in BIOS. Than disabled C9 and C10 C-States. I actually recommend modding the bios. Opens the computer up to a lot more options. For example i can change whethere my touch screen registers via SPI or I2C. Enabling graphics is a simple as having latest web drivers...
Ive accomplished quite a few things. Removed cpus=4, GTX 1060 for CUDA computing, trackpad, touchscreen. Havent done native audio due to not really needing it. And should be able to start work ton TB3 in a month or 2 when I get a new device. UPDATE: Alexandred has not ported synaptic's...
Awesome thanks. One last group question. hdmi audio requires that native audio is implemented properly.Does the cloverHDMI install native audio or am I misreading the guide on the site? I've been trying to work on native audio for about the past audio but the link in your LAPTOP READ FIRST guide...
@RehabMan Please take a look at my previous post in reference to this one. Do you think 2 different DSDT's could work as a means to enable and disable the dGPU from clover?
@uar DUDE!!!! got Hdmi out working as well as the 1060 being recognized by OS working. Decided not to try changing primary GPU to 1060, not because it will brick the computer(from my research, it wont work ,but it is correctable) As of me typing this post, I havent implemented hdmi audio YET but...
While my goal is to get it to work fully, If it works at all it will be a battery killer. I plan to have different configs setup. 1 for disabling the dGPU for normal Laptop use and another with it enable for video production. I will keep you all updated.
@uar I have been working on rebuilding my hackintosh setup for as close to 100% functionality as possible and can confirm modifying the bios to disable c9 does activate all cores in Sierra (Haven't tried High Sierra yet). If anyone needs instructions on how to modify bios and disable c9(not 100%...
Its not a different driver. You have to uninstall/delete the realtek audio driver from windows, than switching between internal speakers and headphone jack works via the audio panel in system preferences. What do you mean by your fans are normal after updating bios? Also do you know if there has...
I completely disagree with UAR. I purchased this laptop specifically for music production and it works wonders. Audio routing has never been an issue for me, has switching between internal speakers and headphones( its just not automatic).
I think you are misinterpreting what I am using the 1060 for. I dont need to use it display for it to speed up my rendering. but thats ok. As far as your files I did. didnt work, just like when I used the readme.
lol If you say so I appreciate your help man! btw I got cuda working with premiere on Sierra. Havent checked if its possible to get working with FCPX yet.
