'Still waiting for root device' when trying to boot Mac OS X 10.6.3 installer

I would but USB isn't working. Can't install Multibeast as the mouse isn't working and I have no idea how to navigate the Installer with the keyboard.

'Still waiting for root device' when trying to boot Mac OS X 10.6.3 installer

EDIT: Nah, I'm fine. Can access finderbar with keyboard using Ctrl+f2. Thanks! I can now successfully boot to the installer, but the mouse, which I need to get to disk utility, will not work. Any idea why? (PS: Mousepad is Synaptics PS/2 port touchpad)

'Still waiting for root device' when trying to boot Mac OS X 10.6.3 installer

Hi guys! You may or may not remember me from last year, when I tried to get my HP Z600 Workstation on Sierra. After taking a temporary hiatus from hackintoshing (or at least attempting to hackintosh) I am back and trying to get my HP EliteBook 8440p laptop on Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I figured...

I just need these questions answered

I looked at the thread, but I'm on a tight budget here. Is there any way I could do it without spending any money at all?

I just need these questions answered

All I have are USB2 ports. I tried what you said, but there seems to be this issue where the USB ports stop working or the flash drive ejects when Sierra is booting. I don't think it is the flash drive itself, and it is the only flash drive I have.

I just need these questions answered

Hi, I have a few questions that I think may solve my problems. First of all, is it better to have a macOS only system or to have a dual-booting system? I would prefer to have a dual-booting system, but I would really like macOS if I had to have a single-boot system. Second thing, how do I solve...

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

Managed to get a snap of the text before the corruption. Booting into safe mode had the same effect.

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

I found an image that more or less displays the same thing mine said before it got corrupted: https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/img_20170309_014723-jpg.240745/ It's not exactly the same though, will get a photo if I can and you still want me to.

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

When booting from the Sierra partition of my USB (in verbose mode), the last line I could remember coming up was Waiting On: (and then some XML). After that, I got the corrupted text and prohibition circle in the image. I can see a bit that says: lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, maybe this...

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

600GB for Windows and 200GB for Mac. Other 200GB is Windows system image recovery.

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

Two things. First of all, I have a legacy BIOS, but I could only find a guide for booting with separate drives with a legacy BIOS. Which steps do I need to ignore to have them on the same hard disk, but with two different partitions? And, finally, if I follow the guides, I think I'll just run...

The best way to set up a Windows + macOS dual-boot system?

Hi there again guys, Setting up a Windows and macOS dual-boot system would be great. I would love to have the compatibility of Windows and the beauty of macOS on the same system. I tried creating a boot disk for Sierra 10.12.3 using UniBeast, but I couldn't get my mouse/keyboard to work (as...

Peripherals not working on macOS Sierra install screen and another possible issue

Hi there, I can't seem to get my mouse or keyboard to work on the macOS Sierra install wizard. They seem to work fine on the bootloader, but not on the install. I used UniBeast 7.0.1 to create a macOS Sierra 10.12.3 install USB with a downloaded copy from the Mac App Store. I tried unplugging...
