Curious about your settings as I am using same i7 7700k and scores are coming in lower. Also, I noticed in your about this Mac it is showing your graphics as Intel HD630, how did you achieved this?
Thanks
No, Im sill in the same boat! I have kinda conceded defeat on this for now tbh until the announcement by apple in June.
There is a thread on here somewhere regarding HDMI audio. I have not attempted any of the fixes but it may be worth a look if you really need HDMI audio.
4.5 is how fast the chip goes with turbo boost active. Do I need to overclock the cpu in order for this to work?
If I overclock to 4.6 I only get a very slight increase on my score.
Hi guys
Need a little advice with my latest Geekbench scores. My previous score were with XMP enabled are were slightly faster than without XMP. However, before testing for my latest scores I enabled HWPenable and UseARTFrequency and put 4500 in Frequency MHz. The problem is my single core...
Have you checked if your line outs are working? I do not have HDMI audio working but I do have sound from the Line outs.
Before installing the VoodooHDA 2.8.9 kext I had no options for sound whatsoever so its better than nothing for me for now
Here is my new score up from 5314 and 17370. All I changed was to Enable XMP to YES in clover and then setup XMP in the bios. Thanks for the tip :headbang:
It was more luck than anything else.
I installed several times each time using Multibeast to try and make the drive bootable. Every time the drive would be unbootable. I then tried just adding my clover EFI folder to the EFI partition without using Multibeast and Hey Presto here I am.
It seems...
The only option it looks like I have is "Digital-Out (HDMI)" when I select this all volume controls disappear and I get no sound through HDMI. Line outs are working properly though.
Do you have USB 3 working by any chance?
Definately sounds like a problem with the EFI partition on the boot drive...
Did you use multibeast after installing OS X? If so, your problem might be to do with that.
I had a similar problem where a fresh install onto a fusion drive wouldn't boot. The thing I changed was to not use...
Should HDMI audio work or would I need a USB sound card for that to work also? Is there a particular usb sound card I should go for or will any work?
Thanks
