Success: TUTORIAL Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R. Sapphire 5770.i7950

I went with the Antec Three Hundred case. Grab some cheap case fans for the side and front to blow air in. Also invest in a better cpu cooler because the stock one isn't very good. I just use basic audio and its fine for me, not sure about your needs though.

X58A-UD3R: Stuck at Apple boot screen (Updated)

This is the only guide i found for separate hard drives: Using Chameleon as your bootloader, you can boot an infinite amount of operating systems on your PC. It's simple to use a separate hard drive for each operating system. Install multiple operating systems on separate hard drives. Go to...

X58A-UD3R: Stuck at Apple boot screen (Updated)

I used version 10.6.3 and I think you should try using a newer version. Since you partitioned your HDD to under 1TB, I think this could be the only problem. All of the Snow Leopard discs for sale now are 10.6.3, but I am not sure if you can return it if that doesn't work.

X58A-UD3R: Stuck at Apple boot screen (Updated)

I read that the snow leopard you are using you had from when it first came out. Do you know which version it is? I can't remember where I read it but if its before a certain version iBoot may not work with it. If I find the link I will post it.

What are the rest of your specs? I think it is just better to use a smaller HDD for your boot drive and use the larger ones for all your other files.

I would just put one 4gb of ram in the correct slot. I believe it has to be in slot 1 or 3 but refer to the manual. Try burning another copy of iBoot with a good iso burner because mine didn't work the first time I tried it. If you still can't figure it out, you can try this guide...

Yes that is the exact same one! All those parts are fine to change, as long as you have enough wattage on your PSU. *Also a quick reminder: Once you connect everything to your motherboard, make sure you connect both power supply lines from the PSU to your motherboard! I forgot the smaller one...

The install should work fine with 10.6.5, but since you didn't complete the installation I suggest you start from the beginning. Since you are supposed to install the update and Multibeast before restarting it is not going to work the way you did it. Those steps are to finalize the hackintosh...

    1. Following Lnx2mac's BIOS guide he suggests to turn all those features on so they do not disable when making other adjustments. It is not a completely necessary step, but I did it just in case. 2. I run my memory at 1066 although under about my mac it says its running at 1333mhz, but I never...

My ram is 1.5v. On a sidenote I would recommend a third party heat sink for your CPU because mine idle's in the 40-45 Degree Celsius range.
