i just wanted to update that i managed to get the touchpad to work..thanks to everyone for the shared information and files. i was missing 2 files in the patched folder and that solved it.

Kabyl's booter works really well on 5870 from what I've read.. Do a search and you will see. You will need to extract a ROM file by using GPU-Z or ATI winflash and renamed it to 1002_6896.rom and put it into /Extra. Then put UseAtiROM in your boot.plist More detail instruction can be found here...

How did you get it to boot? creating 1002_6899.rom into /Extra? Modify com.apple.Boot.plist? Which AtiConfig did you try? Perhaps using different framebuffer helps?

Hi, p67a-ud3 user here, everything seems to be working except cannot get sleep to work. Installed sleepenabler.kext but system does not sleep. Not sure if the problem is due to my MSI R5850 card running 32-bit ATI_init Uakari or something else.
