if i have just my ssd hooked up it boots in seconds but if i connect my data drive that i use to hold movies and music my boot time increases to 30 seconds anyone know why this is anyway to get chi mare to ignore that drive

i tried reinstalling 3rd party sata drivers and that didnt help if i boot with -f they all show correcly as internal but with out -f they show as internal any help appreciated

if you replaced the appleahciport and the ioahcifamily kext to get 10.8 to work u will have to do it again after doing this it booted right up and it is running 10.8.1

i haven't realy been around in a while but the last time i was here i dont think sli was possible on a hackintosh. i think a few people managed to get the computer to work with both cards installed but one of them was completely inoperable so it only served a purpose if they started windows

i got a kernel panic on a cold start thats the log that was generated any one have any ideas i rebooted and it went away hasn't came came back also "Failed to unmount /home" and "Failed to unmount /net" appear when shutting down when in verbose mode computer shuts down fine though
well my hack is 100% i THINK its been running for months no kernel panic but is there any reason -v shouldn't be run every time the computer boots just incase something happens randomly i would know why. cause if an error were to happen it would probably be hard to recreate on this computer that...
Im so pleased i stumbled accros the solution to this problem after it annoying me so much and i know there is others with the issue. in your boot plist add darkwake=0 to the kernel flags and thats it enjoy seamless wakes !
