my hack has been running great for more then a year its been on snow leopard lion and now mountain lion but there is one thing that is wierd and not sure if a fix ever came about. if i plug my mouse and keyboard into the computer directly when the computer sleeps if i use the mouse or keyboard to wake the computer that device stops working till i unplug it and plug it back in.
the solution i have found is i use a powered usb hub and for some reason as long as its plugged into the hub and the hubs connected to the computer i can wake with mouse and keyboard and all is well
i am wondering if anyone ever had a solution to this although its not realy a big deal cause i just use a usb hub and the problem is gone it would be neat to have an explanation why this happens or a possible fix
