I got it working in W10 (TB drivers could see two ports), and I could boot into OSX with no issues, however due to using 2x UAD PCIe Octo cards and a PCIe Wifi adapter (along with GFX card), I wouldn't be able to use a UAD Apollo interface.
They need x4, and when you use x4 in the correct slot...
@Stork - hey fella. I'm always coming back to this guide! Thanks so much again.
I can't seem to find a way to search a specific thread, so may I ask if you know if anyone got Thunderbolt working with this build? I have the Asus EX3 PCI card waiting here. I'm assuming I'd need to boot into...
Tried with 0.5.9 - everything worked except it would always crash upon wake (black screen, full fans).
I didn't notice any performance difference with OC, albeit in apps or boot time.
CPU and mobo are fine, but not the GFX card unfortunately. There are no NVIDIA drivers for Catalina, you'll need to to AMD.
I went from El Capitan (980ti) to Mojave (RX 580).
Anyone else notice that video/Youtube is slightly stuttering after going to Mojave? Or from NVIDIA 9XX to AMD 580?
I've tried everything (headless iGPU etc) yet video will stutter every few seconds. Test video:
(Open in YT and go full screen)
VLC doesn't feel as smooth either. The stutter...
Windows is on a separate SSD, and I haven't booted it in weeks.
All I did was connect a new SSD in the hack and turn it on, and all of my boot options had defaulted to Windows Boot Manager. No idea how or why!
Out of interest, my hack boots a lot slower now. Used to take about 4-5 seconds on...
The BIOS would always prioritise Windows Boot Manager over OS UEFI (Mac), so I just deleted the Microsoft folder from EFI.
I'll deal with that another day, at least now I can boot into Mojave.
Hey man. Not having much luck here - I bought a new SSD to make a new APFS backup of the system drive. All I did was connect it to the hack and then boot as usual.
All of a sudden by boot drive will now only boot Windows. In fact it's labelled "Windows Boot Manager".
I didn't touch anything...
BTW - what OS are you on? I believe that High Sierra or above doesn't need an SSDT if you're using 17,1 and PluginType=True in Clover.
In the working Mojave EFI @pastrychef sent over there is no overclock/CPU SSDT and it's working fine.
Sure, attached. Boosts to 4.6Ghz.
BIOS is set to 4.6 on all cores, manually. Can't remember the vcore etc, will report back once I reboot the Mac (working atm!).
I already have an SSDT for USB made for El Capitan, still no keyboard or mouse at Mojave login screen hence I tested the port limit patch to see if it helped.
Everything is in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/
- USBInject
- FakeSMC
- IntelMausi
- Lilu

Tried all ports, and the BIOS settings look fine (only Mojave not working with it).
The version of Clover I'm tempted to update to is around r4565, which was around when Mojave was out so retains the older Clover/UEFIdrivers64 folder (or whatever it's called).
So damn close.
One of my fave quotes from my all time favourite film :¬)
I'm going to buy an external NVME enclosure so I can mount the drive via my Mojave MacBook. That way I can fix the EFI and reinstall clover from scratch. Either that or revert to the backup clone.
I can't wipe the drive, I really need...
