    11.1 update failed

Thanks for sharing your "fix". I had the same problem and disconnecting the additional monitors did the trick.

    {GREAT SUCCESS} - Yo Mang's Hack Pro - 3930K / GTX670 / Sabertooth X79 (56k Warn!)

MacOS Sierra Install Guide for Clover (with iMessages and iCloud) This is a very quick, no-thrills, guide on how I managed to get Sierra installed on my build (which is almost identical to Yo Mangs). I'm going to assume you have a fair understanding on most of this... no hand holding... sorry...

    Can't show hidden files

Well... this doesn't make me happy... but I found a "solution". I installed TotalFinder, used it's built in "Show System Files" option, then uninstalled TotalFinder. Now when I try the normal Terminal method to rehide the files/folders... it doesn't work! I guess TotalFinder is my only...

    Can't show hidden files

Thanks Stork, but not joy. Appears to be a bigger issue going on. I have a feeling this is going to be too bespoke of an issue to resolve :(

    Can't show hidden files

I've tried Funter, DesktopUtility, and manually entering the Terminal commands. After each, I've rebooted my machine (just in case). I have an old-ish build, based off Yo Mang's guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/showthread.php?t=64346&referrerid=155626 There is no combination of tricks...

How to tell if I'm pushing my graphics card too far?

Once upon a time with a Radeon HD 5770, and a Dual-core AMD CPU (I can't remember the model)... I wondered what would happen if I maxed out all the advanced graphic settings for Portal (1). The first 3 minutes was fantastic, then I heard a odd click/bang and that was the end of that. The card...

    Mountain Lion HDMI Audio

While I'm sure this post is very useful and detailed to those who have a firm grasp on it all. But are there any actually step by step guides around? e.g. "Step 1, Step 2, Step 3..." This thread is so generic, I find it hard to tell what's actually suitable for my build. (Mountain Lion...

Native Support for NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti and GTX 660 Graphics Cards in 10.8.3

670 doesn't have natively supported HDMI audio out :(

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

Thanks. Yep, just using the native Apple Software Raid. I'm sure there is better software out there, but for my purposes... it's more than enough.

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

Ah fair enough. I'm didn't know the size could really effect speeds too much. I'm still very happy with my speeds anyway, thanks. I know this is a thread for SSD benchmarks, but I wanted to share my results with my 3x Seagate 3TB 7200rpm Raid 0 setup. Thats 9tb of better than SSD speeds. More...

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

Hi Bimmer, I have an 840 pro 128gb. But I'm not getting the same sort of speeds as you. SSD is running from the Intel X79 chipset SATA 3 (6gbps) port on my Sabertooth x79, 3930k, 32gb Ram build. Trim is enabled. Any ideas why? Mark

Issue with video playback on YouTube

Hi Mikhail716, Sorry I couldn't PM you back. I'm not past my 50 post quota yet :wtf: And I can't post on Yo Mangs thread any more because I've made too many alterations to that "problems/solutions" post. Anyway, it was quite an important update... my overclock is not stable! Flash...

Geekbench scores incredibly low... any ideas?

Yeah, it's annoying. And I don't see any breakthroughs happening any time soon (ever).

    Sleep

Ah, fair enough. I've used Sleep Enabler for my Sabertooth x79 board, as I wasn't able to find any other workable solutions.

    Computer will not start?

What motherboard, cpu and graphics are you using? When you are at the unibeast screen, try entering the "-x" into your flag command. This should get you into Safe Mode so you can fix any problems. Without knowing your specs, I'm just taking a guess here. But you could also try theses...

    {GREAT SUCCESS} - Yo Mang's Hack Pro - 3930K / GTX670 / Sabertooth X79 (56k Warn!)

Thanks Bimmer325Ci, just gave Luxmark a go. GPU only score was 702 compared to Yo Mang's 7670! CPU crashed my machine before it could finish. Starting to wonder if there's some crucial step I've missed? Mark

Geekbench scores incredibly low... any ideas?

Hi Mikhail, I just wrote up a pretty extensive guide on all my problems and solutions with the build. Including my overclock. To help keep it all on one thread, I've put my instructions back on the original Yo Mangs guide. Here's my post. The OC stuff is step 8, good luck.

    OS X 10.8.3 Update

Article: OS X 10.8.3 Update Using "Hex Fiend" your libclh.dylib patch didn't work. "8b811c0c0000eb068b81200c0000" couldn't be found. I'm using GTX 670; any suggestions on what I need to get my OpenCL working again? Thanks, Mark.

Thanks, 23301 was on 64bit. I go 21179 on 32bit which I'm also happy with.
