The instructions/write up by @ukulele01 is perfect - the work of a genius!! I too received similar error message when I first typed the FS# (where '#' is the figure immediately after 'FS') onto clover shell, but that was because I failed to type in : (colon) after the FS#, for example directory...
Thanks, anyway. Guess I have to purchase a new hdd and simply start afresh as none of the recommendations works for me! Have a pleasant day and many thanks.
Simon, thanks for your efforts. Could you tell me the method you used to 'roll back to a clean install of Clover, please! In the Clover Shell, I can see that APFS.efi is showing when the command 'drivers' is entered, but can't seem to find a way to delete it. It seems to me that the Clover...
Thanks, Simon, for responding. I did try the suggestion proposed on the link (checking the EFI bios in clover shell screen) but was unable to open any of the displayed partition - received error message ("FS# is not recognised as an internal or external command! operable program! or script...
I too got the same message ("FS# is not recognised as an internal or external command! operable program! or script file") when I typed in FS# (#=EFI partition number) in clover shell screen. It actually referred to the partition as 'alias'. Could it be because I had earlier cleared the multiple...
Hi Simon,
Thanks for your help, but to be able to access terminal, one has to boot up the OS first! How were you able to access terminal from clover boot manager's screen? Many thanks
Hi Feartech,
I still haven't been able to boot into my macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 from clover screen nor the startup USB (tried all USB ports)! Is there any way I could get it into recovery mode from clover? Please help! Many thanks
Hi there,
I successfully updated my hackintosh macOS High Sierra to 10.13.6 and everything was fine. On reboot was prompted to update Clover to ver 4630 which I did. It would appear my start up USB was also updated to clover ver 4630. I then shut down the machine. When I switched on the...
Yes, I have tried them all and it won't budge! I accidentally updated the start up USB to clover ver 4630 after the macOS High Sierra update 10.13.6 and wouldn't boot afterwards.
Sorry, but none of the options are remotely relevant to my situation. I can not boot into the OS so the options doesn't help! Nothing at all happens after the clover screen - the screen simply go blank!
Sorry, but nothing happens when enter key is pressed - the screen simply goes blank and nothing else! Besides, what boot argument am I supposed to enter? Many thanks.
Thanks, Feartech, but my clover configuration (Clover ver 2.4k Rev 4630) is slightly different to the screen shot you sent (see enclosed). I can only access boot_args->flags [0x00281]-> from System Parameters-> (as enclosed). Even then what box do I tick? (see enclosed). Many thanks
Hi Feartech, I have similar issues. When I click on options at clover screen, I cannot seem to find 'arguments' on the drop down list. Am I missing something? Your help would be highly appreciated. Many thanks, Mohsy54
Hi Tonymac,
Am not sure if I missed something, but my installation wouldn't complete - apple logo stock on black screen! I started with the first part and realised mine was HDD drive. I then followed the second (alternative guide) yet nothing changed - apple logo still stock in middle of...
Thanks Going Bald. I did edit Clover as advised, but used the standard configure.plst instead. I'll try replacing it with the HD4600 and see what happens. I don't have to start from fresh, or do I? Many thanks and have a wonderful day.
Have previously successfully installed OS X Yosemite using UniBeast and MultiBeast, but as a few Apps failed to function properly, tried to install using Clover. Trouble is, everything went smoothly until Step 3: Install OS X Yosemite. Restarted computer and all the beautiful log on options...
Thanks bmanhawks and Tonymac, your solution has just help me solve the network (Ethernet) issue as I now can connect to the Internet using my Ethernet cable! The only issue now left is the sound - there don't seem to be options in the Sound Effects and Output. The only option available is the...
Thanks! I later figured that out and did what you stated and everything went fine, except for Ethernet connection and sounds. It's strange that they both went dead after the successful install of Yosemite, given that I had to download the Yosemite, UniBeast and MultiBeast during the install...
