I have the NvidiaWeb enabled in my clover plist, but whenever I reboot my computer, it reverts back to the OSX video driver. Every time I check clover on boot, the Nvidia Web option is unchecked and I have to manually check it every time to boot with graphics acceleration. What am I doing wrong?
I followed this same guide and I'm having some issues post install. Clover will not boot the OSX drive. I can only boot with the use of Clover on the USB drive. I'm using the 17,1 definitions as instructed. Also I can't run AGDPfix 3 due to the inability to boot into recovery mode. Any suggestions?
Before anyone says anything I have sat at this computer for some time looking for the fixes I need. My first issue is after running Multibeast, I still cannot get the OS to boot on it's own without the USB drive to boot Clover. I followed VanillaIIce's tutorial and installed Sierra, but no...
I have a very perplexing issue I'm hoping to get some help on. Last night I installed El Capitan on my custom built PC:
i7 3770k
Asus Sabretooth Z77
12GB Patriot Viper Division II Ram
MSI GTX 970 OC 4GB
The install went okay, outside of having no sound even though I tried the ALC892 driver...
Some time ago before I traveled for work I notice my sound stopped working. Since then I have reinstalled Mavericks twice, but still the sound hasn't returned. I haven't flashed the bios or tried any DSDT. The sound was working fine without either of these resolves, but if anyone has a good rom...
I dilly dallied with the voltages but I'm not sure if that's the reason why I got the mac to boot because until now I was trying GraphicsEnabler=No. When I tried "GraphicsEnabler=yes" It booted to the desktop. I'm even more relieved that my bluetooth dongle is recognized OOB, and I'm waiting to...
Okay I'll go try it now
Edit: Tried it a few times but it kept doing the same thing. Do you have any other suggestions? I was thinking of trying to get Mountain Lion because Nvidia has drivers for ML (although I didn't see the 500 series supported). Wondering if that is worth a shot.
He probably didn't scroll far enough to the right to see the folder. This happens when the resolution is not set and everything is still big. The folder doesn't automatically alifn itself in order. I think that's why he's not seeing it.
Since my initial Mavericks installation I've noticed the driver issues with the onboard video, like ridiculous amounts of microstutter and lines through video playback. I tried the driver provided by multibeast but that didn't do anything. I set off to see if my Asus 4890 would work on...
I installed Mavericks a few days ago and since have not been able to boot normally unless I use the -f command. If I try to boot normally I get the error screen shown below which shows something to do with Intel CPU Power Management. I rebooted and ran the boot loader in verbose mode, and it...
Hey great people,
After some time of procrastination, I want to make the jump to turning my work pc into a hackintosh, but I am not sure about the hardware I have thus far. I wanted to build a new one from scratch, but the constant BSOD's and lock-ups in Pro Tools has taken it's toll and...
