Some time ago before I traveled for work I notice my sound stopped working. Since then I have reinstalled Mavericks twice, but still the sound hasn't returned. I haven't flashed the bios or tried any DSDT. The sound was working fine without either of these resolves, but if anyone has a good rom or dsdt that resolves this I"m all for it.
My second issue is that I notice that I never get 1080p resolutions (or even 720) when streaming from Youtube. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this but if not I'll just have to deal with it.
