What is your oldest Hackintosh still in use?

As my sig shows, I'm running a Gigabyte Z77 that became my wife's system after I upgraded mine to the current Z270. Hers is running the same Monterey 12.5 and OpenCore 0.8.2 as mine with the only glitch on hers being that neither Firefox nor Chrome will run but everything else down to sleep and wake works like a real Mac.

I still like the older boards that had some colors in them. Today we're in the Ford Model T era. "Any color you like, as long as it's black."

Very true. My first Z68 had a nice, blue circuit-board.

I only have the one Hack' nowadays - the one I just built.

My October 2013 B85 Haswell PowerMac G5 "Big Mac" is still my daily driver. It was my third G5 build and started life running OSX 10.9 "Mavericks." It is now running Monterey 12.5. I have upgraded its CPU, RAM, video card, WiFi/Bluetooth, power supply, and drives over the years and it remains rock solid. My son is still using his early 2013 B75 Ivy Bridge G5 "Big Blue" on a daily basis as well.

As Gary Coleman used to say "Whatchu talking bout, Willis?!" They all may be black but pretty much all of them more than compensate with RGB everything now. More colors AND patterns than you can shake a stick (of RAM) at.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H with an i7-2600K… still in use by my sister.

For me, I'm still testing everything from Intel 8 Series to 400 Series. Here's an old thread example of my 8 series "2013 CustoMac Mini" build which still runs the latest MacOS Monterey. Pretty good for an almost 10 year old build. :)

I still use the PC-MacPro in my profile daily. Works well with everything from Snow Leopard up to Mojave. I have used OC only with HS and Mojave.

I have got a 2002 Northwood Pentium 4 Shuttle clone PC which I shove old versions of Mac OS X onto quite frequently :) (its a little legacy box which gets wheeled out for various experimental/testing reasons quite frequently)

I wonder if anyone has an i850 based willamette system still?

thats the the oldest CPU to have SSE2 which is required to boot any version of Mac OS X, and i850 would be the oldest chipset possible

I love my first hack! It's still fresh and working without any problems 10 years already. Started with Mountain Lion. Skipped Mavericks went directly to Yosemite. Next was Sierra and honestly it was perfect Hack for many years. Now it's running Big Sur. May be his last OS, who knows :) It's rock solid tho.

Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
i7 3770K
16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB

I still use it for some music productions with PCI TI Firewire + RME audio interface.
