The method in post #1 works fine. Just use the latest versions of UniBeast, MultiBeast, and install latest versions of kexts.

One thing to always remember... NEVER try booting Clover from your real Mac. There has been many reports from people who have damaged their Macs by doing this.

Just follow the guide in post #1. Don't mix methods.

Are you sure you disabled enough ports in config.plist? Are you using the latest version of USBInjectAll.kext? Are your other kexts up to date?

Did you try using the USB 3.1 gen 2 ports as a workaround?

Why is what happening? USB issues? Because you are using what is considered a temporary fix for USB. You are not alone, lots of people are having USB issues. You can try using the latest UniBeast. It has the new USB limit fix incorporated.

Best thing to do is use SSDT for USB with USBInjectAll.kext.
Up and running. Thank you very much.

If you will be doing a clean install, you will need a USB installer.

Even if you will not be doing a clean install, it's helpful to keep a USB flash drive with a known working EFI folder in its EFI partition so that you can use it to boot up from in the event of an emergency.
