By default, macOS will only show the stock CPU GHz.

I don't know what your hardware is at all. Please fill out your profile to show some info so it's easier for others to help you.

@jimmakos01
I will be following your guide between today and tomorrow to get my system up and running. Our build are similar. I have the Gigabyte Z270N-wifi and i5-7600k. Everything should be pretty much the same I would guess, including getting the graphics card functional. Do you know if the display port works on the card?

I have't test it, but i believe that you should be fine.

Update for the setup. From my previous build i had a DW1560 wifi & bluetooth card but the motherboard had no place for this chip. So i bought a pci adapter for the card from ebay.

The installation was very easy, after that i installed FakePCIID,FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi,BrcmPatchRAM2,BrcmFirmwareData in S/L/E via Kextbeast and in clover put the fvco patch and everything working very well.

This is the guide I've been looking for!! I have practically the same setup as you. I've never built a hackintosh before so I'm excited to follow this guide tomorrow to get mine running. Thank you so much for this

I'm glad to here it. You will love your setup.

This worked perfectly thank you so much!! The only thing that isn't working yet is HDMI audio but I can live with that for right now.

One question I do have is; does your RAM show up like this in about Mac? I read the mobo manual and it said to have it in slots 1 and 3 but this looks like its in 2 and 4?

I will take a look at afternoon. But, I believe that is not a problem.

For the HDMI audio, I haven't tested, because I have Harman Kardon Soundsticks and the connection is through 3.5 jack.

Hello, I have the same setup! But i can't the nvidia 1060gtx run with Web Drivers. Do you do any special config? thanks!

Please be more specific than "I can't the Nvidia GTX 1060 [to] run with Web Drivers." Is the problem you select the Nvidia drivers in the Nvidia System Preferences pane, and the setting doesn't hold across the reboot?
