Really? That blows :( Is this a Mac-specific problem? The card came with a crossfire cable, so I have to assume it is not a limitation of the hardware.
I do not care about it being one card. Two is perfectly fine, I just want to know if another 5770 is all I need or if I need to get 2 completely different cards.
That is for sandy bridge built-in graphics with an additional video card according to the specs. My machine, as you can see in my sig, is an i7-950, which is pre-sandy bridge. It also is 4 monitors, not 6.
I have seen posts about running 6 monitors (3 x 2) in SL, but none in Lion. I am about to take on a massive project that will require me to be monitoring a large number of servers while writing and testing code. I prefer to do all of this off of a single machine with a lot of monitors rather...
I just bought the new MacBook Air 15" which seems to be damned close to this machine. The About The Mac info shows this:
Intel HD Graphics 3000:
Chipset Model: Intel HD Graphics 3000
Type: GPU
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 384 MB
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)

Are you using the ATI Experimental boot version of chameleon - A new version was released today in the new Multibeast? Also the right (Vervet) version of the driver? What are the choices you are shown in monitor - only 800x600?
I am running a Sapphire HD5770 under 10.6.6 with 3 monitors...
I am looking to add 12GB to my GA-X58-USB2 motherboard. I am perfectly happy to remove what I have on it already. My question is what is the best deal I can get for 3 triple-bank 4GB DIMMs? I have heard that certain RAM, especially G.Skill does not work with this board. Also, am I better off...
I am running that motherboard and had 2 problems:
(1) The network chip is slow under OS/X. I bought an inexpensive Intel GB LAN card and it works great.
(2) ALC892 audio: For now the best solution if you want analog out is to patch your DSDT according to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7536...
Tried that kext several times. It does not work on my motherboard. It shows strange characters for the names of the channels and gives no sound.
Edit: Tried it again. The Info.plist shipped with that stop it from loading. Substituting in my own allows me to see my rear line out (Green) in...
I have edited the Info.plist on VoodooHDA 2.72 so that my rear green line out on the GA-X58-USB3 motherboard's ALC892 shows up in the prefPane (nid 20) with the controls active that I would expect, however it does not show up as an output option in the Sound panel.
Is there a way to edit the...
