I have edited the Info.plist on VoodooHDA 2.72 so that my rear green line out on the GA-X58-USB3 motherboard's ALC892 shows up in the prefPane (nid 20) with the controls active that I would expect, however it does not show up as an output option in the Sound panel.

Is there a way to edit the plist to make this a choice for sound output?

Thanks in advance,
Warren

Tried that kext several times. It does not work on my motherboard. It shows strange characters for the names of the channels and gives no sound.

Edit: Tried it again. The Info.plist shipped with that stop it from loading. Substituting in my own allows me to see my rear line out (Green) in the VoodooHDA control panel, but it is not offered to me as a choice for output. None of the choices give me output. If I turn the volume way up on the speakers I can hear sound very quietly - I assume it is bleeding over from another channel.

Thought? Anyone?

Thanks!
