    OS X 10.10.3 Update

I was hesitant to do this upgrade as my hack would not take the last 10.10.2 security update without kernel panicing, however I was pleasantly surprised. Installed the combo update for 10.10.3. Rebooted with -v and -F flags, installed the new nvidia drivers, rebooted and was good to go!

    Security Update 2015-003 1.0

I seem to be having an odd issue with this update. I cloned my boot drive to another drive and verified a successful boot with it, but after applying the update and installing the new web driver I can't get back into OSX unless I boot with a -f variable to ignore caches. Without the variable I...

Help My Intel HD 4600 Graphics are not detected

GTX 970 cards are supported but add a layer of complication due to needing separate nvidia web drivers that you have to install as well.

NVIDIA Web Drivers, Yosemite, and Boot Issues (Black Screen, Reboots, etc.)

I tried -f (rebuild caches) as well, it wasn't until I looked at the options and used -F (which bypasses the boot flag for the nvidia driver) that I was able to boot back in and install the newer driver.

[SOLVED] Issue using Unibeast to install 10.10.2 - KP during Installation

Glad you got it up and working, nv_disable=1 does not disable my gtx970 for whatever reason, when I did my 10.10.2 update I had to also use -F to bypass the nvda_drv=1 flag or else I would KP before I could install the web drivers. The card is not natively supported in OSX its one of the first...

NVIDIA Web Drivers, Yosemite, and Boot Issues (Black Screen, Reboots, etc.)

I upgraded my system to 10.10.2 and the new web drivers tonight, for whatever reason "nv_disable=1" by itself would not work for me, after installing 10.10.2 I had to boot with nv_disable=1 -v and -F to bypass my nvidia driver boot flag to get to OSX. Once back in OSX I could install the web...

When I installed my system with 10.10.1 i7-4790k ga-z97x-ud3h gigabyte gtx970 I never added the "nvda_drv=1" flag to my boot arguments, yet the system works with my gtx970 fine and the nvidia graphics are selected in the nvidia control panel... does the nv_disable=1 only work if the boot flag...
