I've installed OS X 10.7 on a Gateway NV57H laptop with much success. It uses a Broadcom 5760 ethernet controller. I have not been able to find a kext for this device. I believe the interface is also sometimes referred to as a 57785. Can anyone suggest where I might find a kext for this NIC...

The method I describe only works with OS X 10.7. As far as I know, 10.6.8 doesn't include drivers for the Intel HD 3000 graphics interface on the i3 chip.

I don't use a DSDT, and didn't use any boot flags. I looked into editting the DSDT to get the brightness controls to work, but it doesn't appear to use the same device names as motherboards.
