[GUIDE] 4530s Display Upgrade to 1080p (Update: 2012-06-30)

Ah I just noticed your reply Kevin. I also bought the same one, as mentioned earlier it works great :) And yeah, a lot of sellers send a "compatible" one. Thanks for your reply. Yeah, in the end its more pixels per inch (pixel/inch ratio?). So basically its harder to see the individual pixels...

[GUIDE] 4530s Display Upgrade to 1080p (Update: 2012-06-30)

I got my screen last friday (4 day delivery from the german ebay seller in your post - to the Netherlands), and the cable today, also very fast delivery (~4/5 days). It took me quite a while to figure everything out and install it. But after 5 or so hours I got it all done and it worked straight...

    Slow booting/shutting down from SSD

Wow that is really nice and preferably what I want. But hey, what is 15 secs anyway.

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

What do you mean by attaching it to the WiFi card? I taped the pins and couldn't find any additional space for another card.

    Slow booting/shutting down from SSD

I wanted to but had no idea what to do with the txt files from your github, or how DSDT editor worked exactly. Some hours ago I looked at the Wiki and found your detailed guide. A bit hard to find to be honest. :) Perhaps put the link to your wiki page in the readme or in your patches topic...

    Slow booting/shutting down from SSD

So i'm using my hackintosh laptop for 1,5 week. I installed an SSD from crucial, but booting up and shutting down takes about 20-30 seconds. Even my old PC is faster then that. I tried the trick in this topic which doesn't do anything. I have F.29 BIOS firmware installed. Shouldn't a boot from...

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

Thanks! I had a hard time finding a bluetooth receiver that was confirmed working natively. I'll get the one you mentioned and get it all over with. So for quick reference for anyone trying do get decent Bluetooth working: tape the Bluetooth pins of your original wifi/bluetooth card and buy...

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

It seems I had to test a bit more before jumping to the conclusion it worked. Because it doesn't. This afternoon after the taping it worked great. But I just got home from work, booted the laptop and it works awful. The same problems occur except the random disconnects, so only the constant...

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

I taped it and it seems to work wonderfully now! Perhaps it's an idea to mention the taping post in your After Installing Mountain Lion on HP Probook - Optional thread for those who intend to work with bluetooth actively?

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

Alright, i'll do that and give an update when it's done. I thought the kext mentioned earlier would do the same thing.

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

So you're saying that disabling the internal Bluetooth device would force OSX to use the bluetooth dongle and it would solve the problem? Because then I rather save the $10 and tape the bluetooth pins.

    Bluetooth vs Magic Mouse

I bought a seperate Bluetooth dongle (Sweex BT214) since I noticed the internal bluetooth works very poorly in combination with my Magic Mouse. Sometimes I notice my Magic Mouse works perfect (really, everything works as it should be), I assume it's connected through my Bluetooth dongle. But...

Thank you! This works : )

    New VoodooPS2Controller, Keyboard, Trackpad

I'm afraid I don't quite get this. At the start you say e05f is printscreen? I thought it was Fn+F1? I read your post over and over again, but I can't seem to grasp it. Could you perhaps give an example of how it looks like in the VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext/content/info.plist? I appreciate the...
