I have mine working, but I'm just using the inbuilt graphics. I can see that my card is found by lion now, but I still cant use it. I heard somewhere that the switchable graphics on real macs have a hardware switch inside them, and pc version is software, so it will never work.

My suggestion would be to steer clear of 16:9 monitors, get one thats 16:10. It might not seem like a lot of difference, but when you are trying to edit in logic all the extra vertical space you can get is a godsend... unless you plan to have more than one monitor. You will thank me for it...

Hi, I have tried your dsdt from the resources section and I'm stuck on pci configuration begin. I'm using Lion, 10.7.2. I tried the old 10.6.7 pci kexts... no love there. any other suggestions? do these older dsdt's need some tweaking? thanks.

is anyone else having issues with USB on their vostro? If I format a usb drive, either in windows or osx (partitioned main drive with lion on 0,1 and win7 on 0,2) then that pen drive works fine on the laptop, but as soon as I try to use it on another compter it shows up as an unknown...

did you try installing the bootloader through multibeast? I found installing chimera via standalone installer would not work for me. make sure you backup your smbios.plist and com.apple.boot.plist before installing the new bootloader as it may overwrite them... in fact, backup your whole extra...
