Hi, I have a Gigabyte P55a-ud4p motherboard with the dsdt v.14 downloaded from the dsdt database here.
I recently tried to update from 10.6.5 to 10.6.8 and had a nightmare of a time with the 'pci configuration' hang. Unable to resolve it I decided Lion might be a better bet for me... so I installed Lion, but when I try to run the multibeast in lion, I get the exact same problem! argh!
I have tried all the pciroot1,2 and npci etc fixes in the boot.plist, none of which work in any combination. I have tried the 10.6.7 IOPCI kext pack with some hope, but still not working (in 10.6.8 it would get further than the pci hang, but still not load up fully, in lion it does nothing).
I am running a cheapy 8400gs nvidia card, could it be something to do with that? I'm at the end of my rope, please help if you know any more suggestions for this annoying error.
thanks.
