Hi all,
Background:
I was able to securely upgrade from 10.12.1 to Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.5 via combo installer as per Tony's guide, and have working drive / backup for it. Suppose this was the first hackintosh 10.12.1 (old version) successfully installed with :
Unibeast version X.X based on...
I looked at the following guide, https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-multibooting-uefi-on-separate-drives.198869/
As mentioned above, I made win10 bootable USB through bootcamp as noted above given I only have working mac at home.
Please see the following diskutil commend result, I...
Hi there,
I am in same situation as you:
- Perfectly stable working Sierra on one SSD
- I wish to add Win10 on another 2nd SSD
I tried the following step:
- made Win10 USB installer via Bootcamp in Sierra
- hooked up a 2nd SSD to PC
- Reboot; boot into the Win 10 USB Installer
- Choosed 2nd...
I have recently purchased a new 1TB SSD to replace the original working/bootable 500GB SSD.
I followed the steps below but had no luck in booting into the new 1TB SSD, can you please help?

Thanks for the point in fixing my BIOS Settings!
History:
I had working Sierra on HDD with HD530 glitch (i.e. Reference A). I recently bought SSD (i.e. Reference B) which I used CCC to copy the entire HDD and prepare identical EFI Partition. Obviously, both are suffering HD530 glitch but other...
Hi Telepati, I have almost the same desktop setup as you but without GPU in my build. I tried all kinds of fix/patch like you said but still no luck; the moment I edit config.plist by adding those settings under "Device" and "graphics" section makes the drive unbootable.
Given that I have no...
Hey Pearholland, please don't be confused by two separate issues mentioned in this thread. In short,
[1] This KP was SPECIFIC to error message when you try direct update to Sierra from EI Capitan, and how to address it to continue with updating to Sierra successfully, (main point of this...
As usual, please provide detailed info on how/when/where you got this kernel panic message otherwise I can't be much help :).
I'd assume you have perfectly working EI Capitan. I simply followed the Tony's Sierra unibeast method to upgrade from EI Capitan to Sierra. You simply skip the steps...

I am waiting on the guru to solve this issue:)
Perhaps if you googled/searched this forum a bit, you would have spotted exact (if not similar) kernel panic that I already posted in this thread, please check my post where I was able to address the issue...
Update: Now I have working Mac OS Sierra and for those of you who may need guide in solving this or any other kernel panic, please follow the step below, I simply swapped the entire EFI in Sierra installed drive by the fresh batch from the bootable USB then it worked like charm.
1. Follow Tony...
