You can use a Fusion Drive if you like. It doesn't affect Mavericks' behavior. I would suggest you buy a HDD and an SSD separately. Load Mavericks on the SSD and use the HDD for most of your storage.

Hey all, so I decided to use my iGFX for a while but i get weird outputs with the HD 2500. Like sometimes the screen would go black with a while patch like thing in the upper left or sometimes it would turn completely white and not reach the login screen. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Also, after the bluetooth initializes, the graphics initializes next, and that is where you're getting stuck. To fix this, check to see if you are using the right boot flags. GraphicsEnabler should be set to Yes. P.S. Its a graphics problem.

To solve this problem install either patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement or NullCPUPowerManagement (NOT BOTH!) from MultiBeast and this problem should go away.

Make sure SATA Mode in your BIOS is set to AHCI. Also make sure you follow the guide for BIOS configuration on UEFI motherboards. That should hopefully work.

There must be an EFI partition as that is essential for booting...

You can find your kexts for SATA support in MultiBeast... Please look under Drivers & Bootloaders. Most probably under drives category. Read the description of each kext carefully before installing. Good luck! :thumbup:

What he means is you need to make sure your UniBeast flash drive is formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and not Mac OS Extended (Journaled)(Case-sensitive).
