Thank you Rehabman,
Well I suppose I must start with battery status, following the sticky How to patch DSDT for working battery status. Looks like it must be done manually.
Then the obvious feature that needs fixing is the sound, with codec IDT 92HD95. I think I must create an AppleHDA for...
Hello nguyenmac
Thank you for your answer.
Do you think I should forget about installing Yosemite on the hp 350 g1?
Or can I make it work by using patchmatic to create a custom DSDT, that I would then place in EFI/clover/acpi/patched?
Even though I am not experienced with DSDTs, I am...

When I choose 4xx g1, I get the message:
1- you haven't pressed F4
2- you haven't selected the right main model-specific patch
2- is probably right (I have a 350 G1, which cannot be selected...
Hello everyone,
I used the Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI on my HP 350 G1.
It worked fine, up to the point the HP Probook Installer gave me the following warning:
1- you haven't pressed F4
2- you haven't selected the right main model-specific patch
I did...
Well I did this:
1. Boot to Clover from HDD, press F4 at Clover screen.
2. Boot to your OS X Yosemite. Run HP Probook Installer and install with these options:
Config and DSDT patcher:
- ProBook model: 4xx G1 (even though my model is 350 g1)
- Fan behavior: Readings only
- Display...
Ok, so I tried F4 and Fn + F4. It did not display or acknowledge anything.
Anyway, I still tried to use the Probook installer to patch the DSDT, but it gave the warning:
1- you haven't pressed F4
2- you haven't selected the right main model-specific patch
Well, I did follow the "Yosemite install on hp laptops with clover uefi" guide, to the letter.
However, with my HP 350 G1, when I path/repatch the DSDT with HP Probook installer, I get the message:
1- you haven't pressed F4
2- you haven't selected the right main model-specific patch
So...
Right, there is probably another version of the kext in clover. Silly me!
Will check and run debug again...
Other than that: I would like to fix the battery status, which is missing. So I thought I would follow your guide "How to patch DSDT for working battery status".
But before I...
Hello ReHabman
I just ran the debug version of VoodooPS2Controller, as you suggested. I attached the log.
I am not sure how to interpret the data, though. Did the debug version work at all, or did something interfere with it?
Also, would you know of a checklist of all the things that...
Hello everyone,
It took me a while to achieve multiboot on my new HP 350 G1 laptop, but I finally got there.
I thought it best not to interfere with the Windows hdd settings, so I replaced the optical drive bay by a caddie. In the caddie I placed the original hdd, and in the original hdd...

Hello Rehabman,
I would like to run the debug version of VoodooPS2Controller, as you suggested.
So I unzipped "RehabMan-Voodoo-2014-1016.zip", and found a Debug directory.
Should I just use kextbeast to install the debug version of VoodooPS2Controller from that directory?
Will it...
