My audio is working as posted previously.
I am however experiencing popping noises that seems to be in "pace" with the sounds being played. i.e. when listening to music and a quite part comes on, the popping is gone, as soon as the sound gets louder, it is following the "rythm" and when...
Re: GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 F8 intermittent kernel panics
After about 5 re-installs problem is solved.
The problem was too much overclocked CPU.

Hi,
about a week ago I managed to create my Apple Bluetooth USB hub.
I bought this item http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/APPLE-MACBOOK-A1181-BLUETOOTH-BLOCK-CABLE-A1114-/150613031496#ht_1817wt_860 which came with the wire colors:
Black
Yellow
Green
Red
Mine was in the "correct order", meaning that...
Re: Troubleshooting help with Z68 UD5 B3 board
Okay, I can gladly let you know that my problems has been resolved.
I've overclocked my CPU from 3.4 Ghz up to 4.7 Ghz.
The system was able to run at that frequency (and voltage etc.) stable in Windows 7 using linpack Intel burn test for over...
Re: Troubleshooting help with Z68 UD5 B3 board
For me it seems to be whenever the computer is idle, or I click (I use Apple's bluetooth chipset with Magic mouse and trackpad), or when doing something causing network load (like updating dropbox for instance).
Lately my computer just freezes...
Re: Troubleshooting help with Z68 UD5 B3 board
Hello Lucky777s,
I have the same setup, and I as well am experiencing random freezes.
I have no idea what is causing it. The system just freezes on whatever it was doing before. No messages are to be found in kernel.log or system.log.
As of...
Re: GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 F8 intermittent kernel panics
Allright,
I've now been able to pin-point the problem to Adobe Flash objects.
It seems whenever a website has flash it sometimes crashes after various amount of time.
Videos seem to have the most kernel panics.
Still nothing in any logs.
My...
Actually, I need to revise this post. I did get it working - but I keep getting random kernel panics which has been isolated to using this kext.
I am gonna have to look elsewhere for proper audio on this mb :(
EDIT:
Haha, it is not the audio driver. It's when watching flash! Naturally I...
But if you look at the image at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/APPLE-MACBOOK-A1181-BLUETOOTH-BLOCK-CABLE-A1114-/150613031496#ht_1817wt_860 it seems like it already is connected to a USB-header?
What do you mean by a dual usb header?
Not a big problem if it's not, would just prefer not having to do...
Hi Hackintosh1997,
The 6870 card is a bit weird. If you want to use the mini display port connector and a DVI connector the adapter needs to be active.
To clarify:
1x MiniDP + 1x DVI requires an Active miniDP -> DVI adaptor
2x MiniDP can use passive miniDP -> DVI adaptor.
Using the MiniDP to...
I'm a Swede ;)
To my understanding I will not have to solder - It's already attached to an USB header?
It has now been shipped - hope it gets delivered soon!
How are the rest of you placing it inside the case? Thinking of putting it inside the HDD cage with some tape or something :)
Hi,
I'm trying to get my Mac OS X 10.7.1 system working.
Hardware specification:
GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 - BIOS version F8
Intel Core i7 2600K
Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL8 4x2GB (CMD8GX3M4A1600C8) - Supported by motherboard (it's on the vendor qualified list)
3x Intel X25-M G2 80GB...
Never mind,
I didn't account for the terminals word wrapping in nano when copying the <dict> <key> for my USB.
To other users, you should not have an trailing $. This means that the line has been truncated.
Make sure you expand your terminal window fully if doing this through terminal window.
Re: No boot when graphics card in second PCIE slot
Allright, so apparently I burned my motherboard in some way while switching graphics cards (I had two before starting this whole mackintosh journey) in and out.
Mac OS X would not let me install with both.
Two graphic cards were not working in...
