Mini Display Port to HDMI/DVI/Display port all in one!!!

hey guys,
i just wanted to check if anyone knows if this thing from china works... i would really like to get one for my XFX 6870 ZDFC Dual Fan Edition for my 2nd monitor

Hi Hackintosh1997,

The 6870 card is a bit weird. If you want to use the mini display port connector and a DVI connector the adapter needs to be active.

To clarify:
1x MiniDP + 1x DVI requires an Active miniDP -> DVI adaptor
2x MiniDP can use passive miniDP -> DVI adaptor.

Using the MiniDP to a display capable of DP input is considered as active.

Also bare in mind that the HDMI port is connected to the secondary (the bottom) DVI port. Only one can be used at the time.
