    kernel panic (AppleACPIPlatform)

thanks so much for your help this far. I copied all of those into the patched folder (there were only 3 when you said there were 4? idk if that matters). I'm still getting a kernen panic (see photo, I also don't know why the resolution is so poor). Just a reminder that I'm only able to boot...

    kernel panic (AppleACPIPlatform)

As above, it's news to me that kexts need updating, I think I've managed to install new kexts but I'm not sure.

    kernel panic (AppleACPIPlatform)

I've read this, slowly, many times, but I don't know what any of it means.

    kernel panic (AppleACPIPlatform)

Thanks for looking into this. I'll try my best to make these changes now. I didn't even know kexts needed updating ! I was using a TP-Link Archer T6E but I couldn't get my system to recognise it. I thought I'd try a different one so I went with one I found on amazon. Indeed it belongs to the...

    kernel panic (AppleACPIPlatform)

Help! My Hackintosh was running Mojave more or less smoothly. My old monitor bit the dust so I got a new one, and while I was at it I got a new WIFI card as the previous one wouldn't work. I ran OK at first, then it stopped booting and I get a kernel panic (see photos). I can't even boot...

    Mojave sundry problems, please help!

Thanks so much for these instructions - very clear and easy to follow. Unfortunately they don't seem to have work. I checked twice and also installed the recommended kexts. Below are the only options I see in System PReferrences > Network after going through all the steps. I'm able to use...

    Mojave sundry problems, please help!

Just managed to turn the computer off successfully! Great! What's next? Should I replace the Clover folder on my Hackintosh with the one you sent me? I'll try installing the AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmPatchRAM kexts to see if I can get the wifi working.

Thanks so much! Booted from it, there were no Kernel panics.

    Mojave sundry problems, please help!

Thanks! I ended up just replacing the clover folder in my extant installer USB drive as I wasn't quite sure whether I needed to make a new installer. You said to install clover to the UEFI partition but I wasn't sure how to find it. I'd already seen this but I gave it another read and I'm now...

    Mojave sundry problems, please help!

Thanks so much for your reply! Getting Mojave running in the first place took so much out of me that as soon as I had it running, I really couldn't bear to get back into configuring things further! As mentioned, I've never successfully fixed or patched anything! I've put up with the issues I...

    Mojave sundry problems, please help!

Hi, I've had my Hackintosh for a year, but I still consider myself a n00b on account of the fact that whenever I try to fix something, I break my EFI and need to boot from my installer thumb drive. I've looked into each of these issues and found threads on here with people using very similar...

Mojave won't boot (clean install) - gIOScreenLockState

Ah yes, I also came across another post suggesting that the issue may have to do with the actual display or display cable (I'm using an HDMI to DVI cable, using an old monitor I already had). I'll give the above patch a try now.

Mojave won't boot (clean install) - gIOScreenLockState

Hi! I'm having trouble getting my first build to boot correctly. After installing and running MultiBeast, the display goes black after the Apple progress bar gets to around 60%. In verbose it displays: IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0 I've look as far as I can...
