i got it fixed by using multibeast to install 3rd party usb 3.0 kext, and it works like a charm....

Do you know how to get clover to auto boot to a drive tho? In clover configurator it's set to machdd, but it doesn't auto boot...

how would I do that? I'm new to this and am not sure what to do...

Does it work on 10.12.4? And will it enable usb 3.0 on my x79 Sabertooth? It runs the ASmedia 10** (not sure exactly which one) chipset.

Has anyone managed to get the ASmedia 1042 usb controller to work in Sierra? My x79 Sabertooth has this chip. Usb 2 ports are Intel chipset, so they work natively. But I can't get any usb 3 ports to work. I even have a pcie usb 3 card, but that doesn't work either. Anyone got a fix for it...
