[GUIDE] Mojave Supermicro X9Dai Dual E5-2670v1 with Radeon VII

Wake failure? My best guess would be to check ACPI / power settings in your BIOS? At least your booting with the -v flag now so you get some information

[GUIDE] Mojave Supermicro X9Dai Dual E5-2670v1 with Radeon VII

Saw there was a boardID missing in your config.plist. You could try the enclosed one (boots on my system). Oh and 1 thing you probably want to remove from my folder is the VegaTab_64.kext from the kext/others folder. that is a specific kext I need because I'm running a vega64 card.

[GUIDE] Mojave Supermicro X9Dai Dual E5-2670v1 with Radeon VII

Di Interesting... I had the stop sign one time when updating to 10.15.4 but reboot fixed it. - Did you configure your bios as described in the first post? (and have the graphics card in the correct slot)? - I removed all serials en UUID. Might be a good idea to fill those with your own. else...

[GUIDE] Mojave Supermicro X9Dai Dual E5-2670v1 with Radeon VII

Nope don't think I ever had that issue. What I do have occasionally is that the boot post 'hangs' at 92. I've got a dual boot setup with win 10 and disconnecting the windows drive and reboot fixes this. no clue why that happens.

[GUIDE] Mojave Supermicro X9Dai Dual E5-2670v1 with Radeon VII

Hi There, already moved to Catalina? I've got the first version 10.15.0 running after some fiddling around. Most importantly: - had to add DisableMCEReporter.kext to bypass the new dual CPU checks - remove whatevergreen.kext (resulted in black screen) - enable the "ALPM IO Error AppleAHCIPort"...

    macOS 10.15.1 Update

Interesting... I'm running Dual Xeon on an X9DAI board with the initial release of Catalina. Had to use DisableMCEReporter.kext to get past the dropped 'legacy' dual CPU Mac checks. Working fine on 10.15.0 but panics again in 10.15.1. Anyone had success with a dual Xeon board yet? CPUFriend...

Anyone got a Dual Xeon working on High Sierra?

Tried the same thing and it's a mystery to me too. You might want to consider looking for another motherboard as well.... What's also interesting is that I believe the Z10PA-D8 does seem to work with graphics acceleration.

Anyone got a Dual Xeon working on High Sierra?

Hi I had a x8 to x16 riser card. Can't remember exactly which slots worked (under Windows) but I think the slot connected to the C602 worked under windows. Also tried the PIKE slot if I remember correct. it's an x8 slot operating at x4 speed. If you look at the Z9PE-D8 manual you see that slot...

Anyone got a Dual Xeon working on High Sierra?

I've tried a lot....finding the 1st release of the bios, pci e risers to connect to the C602 connected slot but with no success. I ended up getting an X9Dai and Vega64 board. oh... and Fresco FL1000 USB3 card. This runs really stable and shutdown works (which was another annoying thing on the...

    macOS 10.14.4 Update

I had no problem going to 10.14.3 but 10.14.4 is causing an issue. Clover R4910 X9Dai / Dual E5-2697 V2's Vega 64 Stuck at gIOScreenLockState I run dual monitor set up so tried with single HDMI monitor connected but no luck.

Anyone got a Dual Xeon working on High Sierra?

I've invested quite some time but until now wasn't able to get my NVidia card working. Tried flashing the 1st available firmware (through an eeprom programmer). - no boot.....(incl. windows). Someone claimed it worked on the very first generation of the mobo incl. initial firmware. Tried using...

Anyone got a Dual Xeon working on High Sierra?

I'm running a Z9PA-D8 as well (with a GTX 980). Indeed no signal to the monitor when running with Nvidia web driver enabled. What I notice is that there is still HD activity when the screen goes black. What I also noticed is that is appears the graphics card shuts down (fans stop spinning) as...
