Solution was to use another bluetooth device to test. Apparently my iPhone 8 running 16.7.4 was too stupid to pair with Ventura. The mapping to "Internal" probabaly fixed it in the first place.
OK - remapped my USB ports and now have the BCM 20702B0 connection showing up as Internal. However, no indication of a connection. System Information for Bluetooth shown below. Everything looks AOK but although my system is being advertised for pairing, pairing fails. No Airdrop capability.

Updated from Monterey to Ventura 13.6.3 pretty smoothly but lost BT. I have a Fenvi FV-HB1200 WiFi/BT combo card that shows up as a BCM4360 with BT showing as BCM_20702B0. BT seemed to work fine in Monterey (BT icon showed up on the screen and showed a connection to my iPhone). Tried adding...
Hi,
I'm installing Monterey and have the same setup as you. I'm coming from Big Sur.
Can you share your EFI that you have running Monterey?
Thanks -
Oh yeah - I'm getting an RX580 as well to replace my IGPU.
Reviving this thread for anyone who uses the HD 4600 for integrated graphics and has multiple monitors (in my case 3 monitors with a DVI, DP, and HDMI connection). I was stuck at 10.15.3 since I ran into the KP problems (IOConsoleUsers gIOScreenLockState 3) trying to upgrade. I decided to bite...
There are other people with different motherboard manufacturers but the common theme is multiple monitors using an HD 4600 on board chip for the displays, and at least one HDMI connection. Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.
All updates since 10.15 were installed when fine up till this point. Updated Clover to 5107 and downloaded the 10.15.4 update. Kernel panic on 1st reboot for the update. Using -v I was able to identify the point of the panic with the message "IOConsoleUsers gIOScreenLockState 3". I know this...
Thanks for the response but not sure what you mean. Do you mean AirportBrcmFixup.kext? Tried that for the BCM4360 but I was not able to get it working.
If this is a stupid question forgive me, but why are the vast majority of folks on this site shelling out $300+ dollars for the latest NVIDIA graphics cards when most people have perfectly capable integrated graphics in their i5 and i7 CPUs?
Do most people dual boot and are heavy duty gamers...
I have a similar board and had the same issue. After doing some research I resolved it. Two key things I had to do:
1. Drop DMAR and MATS tables.
2. Change the BooterConfig and CsrActiveConfig as shown.
This got me past the Apple logo and able to install. Hope this works for you guys.
I can't read your error message in your attachment so if you can type it out it would help.
In the meantime make sure you follow the instructions very carefully in
