If this is a stupid question forgive me, but why are the vast majority of folks on this site shelling out $300+ dollars for the latest NVIDIA graphics cards when most people have perfectly capable integrated graphics in their i5 and i7 CPUs?

Do most people dual boot and are heavy duty gamers in the Windows world? Or is it just cool to have the card in their Hackintosh? I have 3 monitors set up on my system and I'm fine with the resolution and imaging for any video.

Inquiring minds want to know!

There have been problems with HD530 HD630 etc. working as standalone graphics with Sierra and High Sierra. Using an Nvidia card will alleviate those problems that you don't have with HD4600. If you search you can find examples of this.

Quinte frankly, I'm not even sure what the latest vigrx plus info integrated graphics cards are capable of, but I'd imagine they're still very limited when it comes to anything other than the most basic stuff.
