Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

Yeah I'm at a loss as well, I may do a clean format of my Win 10 drive and see if that might possibly fix things

Right, someone else uploaded a pre-made kext for me and it ended up working, thanks for your help though

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

Oh man, you're a legend, I have audio from speakers and my headphone jack now... but there is something strange going on, I'm not sure if it's meant to be like this or not. If I play audio (say from a youtube video) for even a second and then pause it, there is a very low-frequency sort of...

z170mx question audio front and back..

I think I see what the problem is... you need to compile the CodecCommander yourself in order to obtain the .kext file, that's where I was going wrong, I didn't realize you had to compile it

z170mx question audio front and back..

This is where it gets confusing, I don't see any config.plist file in CodecCommander, there is however a CodecCommander-Info.plist file, but I'm assuming that's not the one

Would you mind explaining how this works? I'm having a similar issue but I don't quite understand how to work CodecCommander and how to edit the plist, any help would be great.

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

So I read that thread regarding CodecCommander, I'm at a bit of a loss though. It says "Put it into Info.plist of CodecCommander.kext and maybe rebuild your kernel cache." When I downloaded CodecCommander I don't see a CodecCommander.kext folder, am I missing something?

@Applementalist What exactly do you mean? Do you have 2 separate drives dual-booting MacOS and Windows? Did you install the Realtek codec on Windows or use the native one? I've got my headphones working through the front-headphone jack after installing the ALC1150 + 100 series audio drivers...

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

I just tried the audio_clover ALC method as per your 2nd reply, using the audio_cloverALC-120.command method. All that seemed to do was remove the "Speaker" option from my sound settings, now I no longer can even use headphones for sound, would it be safe to just reinstall the MultiBeast audio...

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

I have 2 SSDs, yes, one for Win10 and the other for Sierra. As far as the audio goes, I found that reinstalling the 1150 + 100 series audio drivers with MultiBeast seemed to sort of work the 2nd time... they now appear under the sound settings, and plugging my headphones into my PC's front jack...

New Sierra 10.12.2 Build with onboard audio issues

Any chance you could share how you managed to solve your issues? I'm in the exact same boat with the same motherboard, I installed the ALC1150 and 100 series codecs through MultiBeast but still have no audio

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

Thanks for the reply, I actually managed to solve it with another method, I was using a DVI cable to link my monitor, and I ended up swapping it for an HDMI, and that seemed to do the trick, the GPU sticks now, very odd. The problem now is I can't get any audio working, installing the ALC1150...

@Cmfusco11 I used your build description to guide my install, but I'm having some problems, I made a thread here if you could possibly help. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/cant-get-drivers-working-for-gtx-970.212951/ P.S. I'm also having the same audio issues as the guy above as well, I...

Can't get drivers working for GTX 970

Hello there, I'm an absolute novice at this, just spent all day getting my first Hackintosh up on a new build. My parts are as follows: Gigabyte Z170X-UD3 i7-6700k EVGA GTX 970 Evo 850 (2x, for Win10/Sierra) Essentially what I did was follow this video here: I made it all the way into...
