Thanks for the tip, that seems to be working now. I didn't put it in L/E, I just know that after the IPG installation, once I tried to open the gadget my computer was put into a reboot loop and I had to go find what was the problem.

Ok so I managed to fix it. Apparently this was an SSDT issue. I dug back in my files for the .aml file that I was using last year that worked and I used that in combination with USBInjectAll and that worked (minus my bluetooth, but I fixed that just now). I enabled hot plug for all unused sata ports, then tried plugging the external drives into my usb ports, but it didn't recognize it.

Thanks for your help. I've applied that patch and enabled hot plug in my bios, but still not recognition. Weird because the external drive shows up in my BIOS, just not in OSX. Any other thoughts? Could it be a hardware issue?
